Chivas released a video in an attempt to motivate both their fans and players in their quest for a comeback.

Atlas is already out on the field with the mission of winning the series against Chivas, will they succeed?

The good news for Chivas is that Alexis Vega, who came off due to injury in the second half of the first leg, will be present for this match with the mission of making the comeback.

Reigning champions Atlas are still alive in the championship and have a chance to repeat, however, they will have to win, draw or even lose by one goal this game if they want to advance to the semifinal round.

In short tournaments, Chivas del Guadalajara have only been able to come back once in the quarter-final series when they lost the first leg in 2006 against Jaguares, and only once in five occasions have they been able to do so.

With Alexis Vega in doubt and Angulo out, Roberto Alvarado will have to take the offensive baton and carry the team on his shoulders to achieve the turnaround at home to think about the semifinals.

At the end of the match, coach Ricardo Cadena assured that the team will seek their pass to the semifinals and will die on the line, where he highlighted that the Jalisco Stadium pitch is a field where they have obtained good results.

"We are going to a field that suits us well, we will look for a goal that will help us get closer to our goal. We must be committed and have the ability to be self-critical.

We didn't perform well in the first half, the team must be demanding at all times. The second leg is very important and we will try to qualify. Nobody would like to suffer a defeat, the team and the series is alive", he commented.

Atlas' coach, Diego Cocca, commented that he liked the first match because they were superior and this was reflected in the scoreboard, in addition to expressing the importance of Aldo Rocha for the team, who they hope to count on for the second leg.

"I am left with the fact that we won again in this stadium. Today was a blow of authority because of the way we played. We were superior at times during the match.

Aldo is a very important player for us, he is a benchmark, we knew he would not play the full 90 minutes. He has personality and we hope to be able to count on him on Sunday," he said.

While Chivas Guadalajara's streak of five consecutive victories came to an end last Thursday, they will now have to turn the page to advance to the next round; to do so, they will have to win by two goals or more, any other result would leave them out of the competition.

The Rojinegros del Atlas must not be overconfident after their 2-1 victory in the first leg and they will have to think that they need to win; they will have to replicate what they did in the first 90 minutes, especially in the first half, where they were very convinced of what they wanted and were effective.

The Atlas vs Chivas match will be played at the Jalisco Stadium, in Guadalajara, Mexico. The kick-off is scheduled at 7:00 pm ET.
