The Estadio Nacional José de la Paz Herrera Uclés, or simply Estadio Chelato Uclés is one of the most important sports venues in Honduras, it is located in Barrio Morazán in the city of Tegucigalpa, in the Central District.
It is home to Club Deportivo Olimpia, Club Deportivo Motagua, Club Deportivo Lobos UPNFM.
The National Stadium is located in the Morazan neighborhood of the Honduran capital, Tegucigalpa. It has a capacity of 34,000 fans. It has a circular structure, which is divided into four areas: the popular sector (sun), the preferential sector (shade), the seating sector, and the box sectors, as well as the broadcasting booths.
The stadium was built during the mandate of dictator Tiburcio Carías Andino, with the purpose of promoting sports among the youth.
This stadium was inaugurated on March 15, 1948 with a baseball game between the teams of Honduras and the Republic of Cuba.
