LAFC broke the transfer market by bringing in Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini, in addition to securing the renewal of Carlos Vela, Marco Garces, LAFC's Director of Operations, revealed that the renewal with Vela was not complicated.

"We had an agreement with Vela before Bale was known, although it was not part of the negotiation for him to stay, I think it makes him stay much happier."
