The two newest franchises in MLS meet as Charlotte FC host Austin FC at Bank of America Stadium.

Following a 2-1 defeat to Montreal, Charlotte, who have slipped to 10th in the Eastern Conference, will look for their first win in almost a month with 18 of their 20 points coming at home.

Austin is coming off of a 2-2 draw with Dallas, rallying from a two-goal deficit in their latest Copa Tejas derby. The Verde and Black sit third in the Western Conference standings.

Charlotte FC

The hosts will be without forward Vinicius Mello and defender Adam Armour, who underwent left foot and left knee surgery, respectively.

Backup goalkeeper Pablo Sisniega (concussion), defender Christian Fuchs (lower left leg) and midfielder Harrison Afful (left thigh) are all questionable.

Austin FC

The Verde and Black are relatively healthy with the only two absentees being defender Frederik Kleemann (left knee) and midfielder Jhojan Valencia (right knee).

The Croatian netminder has started all 16 games for the Crown, proving to be a steady presence between the pipes. He's second in the league with 52 saves and has posted five clean sheets.

The Argentinian has been one of the most dynamic players in the league since he arrived midway through last season. With a legue-leading nine goals and four assists, he's at the top of the list for MLS MVP.
