6-4, 6-3, 6-2 that was the scoreline at the end of the match as the Swiss Maestro scalped another win in his journey for a second French Open title.

The young Bosnian started off in a spirited manner scalping the first game in just 2 minutes starting the set with an ace. Federer was shaky with his serve initially and was put under pressure by the Bosnian's aggression. However, he was also very nervous as unforced errors begun to pile up, and Federer was quick to catch on to that and he broke serve at 2-2.

Roger never looked back from then on and served comfortably to take the first set 6-4. He started the second set with a decisive break and thereby breaking the morale of the young Bosnian. Dzumhur never recovered quite well as he played the catch up game throughout the second set and Federer wrapped it up at 6-3.

It was just routine stuff for Federer as he knew he had broken down Dzumhur's spirit as its nearly an impossible task to come back from 2 sets down to win the game. It was no fairytale stuff for Dzumhur as he succumbed and surrendered the 3rd set in rapid time to wrap up the match 6-4, 6-3, 6-2..

Federer will now mostly take on French favourite Gael Monfils or Pablo Cuevas.
