Following the match, Mirnyi said he feels like his partnership with Huey is strengthening each week, "The margins are so small in doubles, often coming down to Match Tie-breaks and we kept our focus on things we needed to do. It's good to see it pay off so quickly... I'm thrilled and looking forward to having more productive weeks. I get a lot of joy in improving every week as a team."

Top Seeds Roll Through Women's Draw in Acapulco

Top seeds Anabel Medina Garrigues and Aranxta Parra Santonja finished off a solid week at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel with a 6-0, 6-4 win in the final over second seeds Kiki Bertens and Johanna Larsson. It was the fourth straight win in the tournament by straight sets for the top seeded Spanish pair. For Medina Garrigues, the title is her 26th at the WTA level with her partner claiming her 9th career doubles title. The title is their first title together since last February when they won in Antwerp.

Bolelli-Seppi Save Match Points to Win in Dubai

Italians Simone Bolelli and Andreas Seppi edged Spaniards Marc and Feliciano Lopez 6-2, 3-6, 14-12 to claim the doubles titles at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. The Italians looked to be in big trouble in the super tiebreak as they fell behind the Spaniards 5-1. They would fight back, but be forced to save match points down 9-8 and 10-9. The Italians would convert on their third match point to get the thrillin 14-12 win in the super breaker.

Seppi was the more excited of the two Italians after the match. The doubles title was his first at this level, "It was a very good week for me. It's good to win the title in doubles. It's my first one. I lost six finals, so to finally win a doubles title is always something special, and especially with a good friend."

The win is Bolelli's fifth career doubles title.

In a week that saw Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis' 44 match win streak end, fourth seeds Hao-Ching Chan and Yung-Jan Chan proved to be the most consistent team in Doha. The Chans finished off a perfect week with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Sara Errani and Carla Suarez Navarro in the final at the Qatar Total Open. The title was the second straight for the Chan sisters who also won at the Taiwan Open earlier in February. They will ride an eight match win streak into their next tournament.

Peralta and Zeballos Score Upset Win in Brazil

Spaniards David Marrero and Pablo Carreno Busta were playing in their second straight doubles final. The unseeded duo lost last week's Rio Open final in straight sets to Cabal and Farah. On Sunday, they faced Julio Peralta and Horacio Zeballos. The Spaniards got away to a good start by taking the opening set 6-4. The first six games were littered with break point chances, but only the Spaniards converted. Marrero and Carreno Busta saw nine break chances and were forced to save seven of their own.

The second set quickly went to the way of Peralta-Zeballos who scorched the Spaniards 6-1 to set up a super tiebreak finish. There, Peralta and Zeballos took four of seven points off the Spaniards' serves to wrap up the Brasil Open doubles title with a 10-5 finish. The title is the third for Zeballos in doubles at the ATP level, while Peralta won his first.
