New Zealand made it four wins out of four in the World T20 Super 10s stage by beating Bangladesh by 75 runs in Kolkata.
The Black Caps batted first on a very tough surface and got to a decent score of 145-8 thanks to Kane Williamson, who made 42. In the run chase, Bangladesh never got going and the New Zealand bowlers were brilliant especially Ish Sodhi and Grant Elliot who took three wickets each to bowl the Tigers out for a small total of 70.
New Zealand won the toss and batted first
Kiwi's captain Williamson won the toss and decided to bat first as he had done throughout all four matches. The Black Caps made two changes to their team with Martin Guptill and Adam Milne left out to have a rest with Henry Nicholls and Nathan McCullum coming in as their replacements. Bangladesh kept an unchanged side for the game hoping to put the India defeat behind them.
The Kiwi's innings after the power play was 39-1 which was decent given how slow the pitch was playing at the start. The first wicket to fall was that of Nicholls for seven of eleven balls bowled the impressive Mustafizur Rahman.
Williamson and Munro get New Zealand up to 145
Colin Munro came in at number three for the Black Caps and he and Williamson started to build a solid partnership before Williamson was the second wicket to fall. Mustafizur got the wicket by deceiving Williamson with a slower ball that bowled him for 42 of 32 balls to leave the score on 57-2 after nine overs.
Munro and Ross Taylor then started up the pace of the innings but Munro then fell to Al-Amin Hossain bowled for 35 off 33 balls to leave the score on 99-3 in the fifteenth over. Corey Anderson in at five didn't last long as he was gone for a third-ball duck of the bowling of Mashrafe Mortaza.
Elliot came in at number six and he and Taylor started to try and get late runs in the innings and just as it started to pay off, Mustafizur came back on to take his third wicket of the innings. Elliot was deceived by a slower ball and was caught by Shuvagata Hom for nine of seven balls.
Mustafiqur takes first five wicket haul
The Black Caps lost three more wickets that of Taylor for 28 of 24 balls, Mitchell Santner for three of three balls and McCullum for first ball duck before the end of the innings. Mustafizur was the star for the Bangladesh team taking five wickets in the innings which restricted the Kiwis to 145-8 on a very slow pitch.

In reply, Bangladesh's struggled in the first six overs of the reply limping along to 30-2. The two wickets to fall early were of Tamim Iqbal run out by Munro for three of eight balls and Mithun Ali bowled by Mitchell McClenaghan for 11 off 17 balls.
Two more quick wickets fell just after the power play to leave the run chase in tatters at 39-4 after nine overs. Shakib Al Hasan was the first of the two wickets to fall of the bowling of Santner for two of six balls caught by McCullum. Shabbir Rahman was then the fourth wicket to fall in the innings for 12 of 18 balls of the bowling of McCullum.
It didn't take long for the Black Caps to get the fifth and six wickets either as the run chase was nonexistent. Sodhi got the wicket of Soumya Sarkar stumped by Luke Ronchi for six of eight balls. Elliot then got the next wicket of Mushfiqur Rahim bowled for a duck of two balls.
Bangladesh lost their last four wickets very quickly to be bowled out for 70 to give New Zealand the win by 75 runs. Mahmudullah was out for five of eight balls, Mortaza was out for three of six balls, Mustafizur was out for six of three balls and then Al-Amin was the final wicket out for a duck.
