Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome will race together next week at the Tour of Oman.

Team Sky have named a strong line up of Dario Cataldo, Joe Dombrowski, Chris Froome, Peter Kennaugh, Vasil Kiryienka, Christian Knees, Richie Porte and Bradley Wiggins for the race.

Over the winter there has been much speculation over who will lead Sky in this year's Tour de France, with Wiggins at one point suggesting he would like to defend his title before declaring the Giro d'Italia his main target.

Fellow tour favourites Alberto Contador, Vincenzo Nibali, Cadel Evans and Joaquim Rodriguez are also expected to race next week - meaning fans will get a chance to assess the early season form of cycling's biggest names.
