Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed the club have signings to come, after completing a deal to sign FC Twente winger, Nacer Chadli.

The lilywhites moved yesterday to snap up the Belgian winger for a reported £7 million, as the club jetted off to Hong Kong for pre season. With Tottenham's total summer spending standing at £24m, Villas-Boas has confirmed he is heading back into the transfer market. He said: “We will continue to do our market and we have not stopped yet, for sure.”

The thirty-five year old Portuguese also spoke out about new signing Nacer Chadli. He added “Chadli’s a player we’ve been following for quite some time and we managed to strike a deal in the last few days. He’s a player who is extremely versatile and can play in several positions up front."

“He played with tremendous success on the left for Twente as a winger and as an attacker for Belgium. We look forward to having him on board with us.”

Spurs have been linked with a number of strikers during the summer transfer market, including Christian Benteke and Leandro Damiao. Yesterday, Damiao was reportedly the subject of a £21.5 million bid from Zenit St Petersburg, who are willing to offer the player £3.8 million per year.
