The international break is now over and it's time to get back to domestic business but not before seeing who the men in form were between 19th October and 10th November.

GK - Wojciech Szczesny (Arsenal) 23 years old
Arsenal are having a great season and although the month didn't end as they would have liked they are still in a great position.  I've questioned Szczesny in the past but he has played well and Arsenal will need his good form to carry on if they are to continue their title push.

RB - Mathieu Debuchy (Newcastle United) 28 years old
It was a strange month for Newcastle.  They would be delighted to take 7 points from games against Liverpool, Sunderland, Chelsea and Tottenham but you can be sure their fans are still hurting after the defeat to Sunderland.  Debuchy was the key man for Newcastle and even scored a goal in the Sunderland game.

LB - Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal) 23 years old
Ashley Cole and Leighton Baines look to be battling it out for England's left back spot but Gibbs is making a case for himself after a good month.  He has matured into a fine full back and deserves his place.

CB - Phil Jagielka (Everton) 31 years old
Jagielka is an excellent centre back and he has enjoyed a great month as Everton only conceded one goal.  It took him a while to get his chance at international level but he will be in the starting eleven next summer as long as he is fit.

CB - Martin Skrtel (Liverpool) 28 years old
There was a time last year when I felt Skrtel's days at Anfield were numbered but he dug in and has earned his place in the team with some excellent displays and even topped it off with a goal in the win over Fulham.

CM - Gareth Barry (Everton) 32 years old
Many thought Everton would struggle when Marouane Fellaini left for Old Trafford but Barry has more than filled his shoes with some quality performances.  Barry rarely lets anyone down and popped up with a goal and an assist in an undefeated month for Everton.

CM - Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) 33 years old
I had my concerns about how Gerrard was going to fit into a Brendan Rodgers team but to his credit he has adapted his style and it looks like a move that will prolong his career at the top level.  He got a goal and 3 assists this month as Liverpool continued their good start.

RW - Andros Townsend (Tottenham) 22 years old
It has been a real breakthrough season for Townsend who has come from bit part player to a key international.  He has brought his fine England form to Tottenham and has really surprised me with his progress since a loan spell at Leeds a few years ago.

LW - David Silva (Manchester City) 27 years old
Silva went through a spell of looking unstoppable but in recent times he has struggled with consistency.   He finally looks to be getting back to his best though and got 2 goals and an assist this month.

AM - Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) 28 years old
Rooney is probably the only United player who can hold his head up this season and say he has played well all year.  His team mates have got their act together now though and he looks even more dangerous because of it.  The England star had 2 goals and 2 assists this month.

CF - Robin van Persie (Manchester United) 30 years old
Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero also had great months and their highs may have been higher but RVP was consistent throughout and got a goal in all 4 games this month as well as 2 assists.  United have their problems but with their front two they can never be disregarded.
