Aberdeen host St Mirren at Pittodrie in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

The Dons go into the game on the back of an impressive 2-0 victory away to St Johnstone, while their visitors overcame Queen of the South in a Scottish Cup replay.

Derek McInnes has Willo Flood back in contention after the midfielder returned as a substitute last week, but Clark Robertson remains on the sidelines for the foreseeable future.

St Mirren boss Danny Lennon has Gary Teale and David Barron out injured, but Paul McGowan could feature after recovering from a knock picked up in midweek.

Derek McInnes was keen to get back to Pittodrie after two away games in a row: ""We've had two decent results on the road, two clean sheets and some decent goals, so we're looking forward to getting back home.

"We've got three games at home in December and it's important we try and enforce that advantage of being at home.

"St Mirren have really got a head of steam up since we played them.

"They've certainly gained a bit of confidence. They're probably about second or third in the form guide.

"I've watched them recently and both performances were assured, so we've got to make sure we're aware of that threat.

"We know we're up against a team who are in good form and who have good spirit, so we've got to make sure we're at our best."

Meanwhile, Danny Lennon was pleased with his side's recent performances: "The last time we played Aberdeen it was the kick-start of our good run we are on just now and we earned ourselves a very valuable point that evening.

"Since then we have gone nine unbeaten out of 10 and managed to keep five clean sheets within that. That's the kind of consistency that we want.

"But Aberdeen are going very well themselves, they have won six out their last eight games, they have had six clean sheets in there.

"Derek has got them sitting at the right end of the table and going forward well in all cup competitions, so it's certainly the direction that a club like Aberdeen want to be in. So we certainly know we are in for a very difficult challenge."
