Iago Aspas moved to Liverpool from Celta Vigo in the Summer of 2013, but he hasn't been a key man for Rodgers as of yet. He has made the occasional substitute appearance and the odd start, but he hasn't been a regular player for the Reds.

It's not a surprise considering the stunning form of the infamous Suarez and Sturridge, as well as that of Sterling and Coutinho, who have both played in positions Aspas can play. But he hasn't been poor when he has participated, although he hasn't been anything special. He's scored in the FA Cup to push Liverpool through to the 4th round, he's put in solid performances when coming off the bench and he has created numerous chances for the other players.

So will Brendan Rodgers include the 26 year old Spaniard or will he be stuck on the bench throughout the remainder of the season and the start of next season? Many believe he should begin on the bench but is it fair to leave a player who wants to play on the bench every week to sit and look the match? Some fans suggest no, but Rodgers may want to keep him as a squad player and nothing more.
