Arsenal are amongst a number of Premier League clubs looking at Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow.

According to Sky Sports, the Gunners are in the market for another goalkeeper following the departure of Lukasz Fabiankski to Swansea and Emilio Viviano returning to Palermo.

Darlow, 23, broke into the Forest first team in January 2013, and has since been ever-present in the squad, whilst putting pen-to-paper on a new contract just last summer.

The Gunners are keen to add another keeper to their ranks to challenge Wojciech Szczesny for the number one jersey. The only other senior keeper at the Emirates is Argentine Damian Martinez who has only featured twice for Arsenal's first team.

Interest in the goalkeeper has also arisen from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, after sending scouts to look the shot-stopper over the previous two seasons.

A substantial fee will have to be paid to Forest as they are reluctant to sell their number one, who look forward to the coming season as they look to mount a promotion challenge.
