Manchester United and Liverpool will square off in Miami's Sun Life Stadium tonight at 8pm EDT (1am BST). Both sides are undefeated in the tournament so far, but which side will lose tonight?

The Red Devils have beaten off AS Roma, Internazionale and Real Madrid to reach the final. Their ICC campaign kicked off against Roma in Denver. Louis Van Gaal's side won 3-2, despite an astonishingly great goal from Roma's Miralen Pjanic from 60 yards out. They then moved on to Inter Milan, who they beat 5-3 on penalties after a scoreless draw in normal time. Their final match was against Real Madrid at Michigan Stadium. The game finished 3-1 and the Red Devils had made their way to the Championship Match without losing a game.

Liverpool had to take on Olympiacos, AC Milan and Manchester City, debatably an easier fixture list. Their campaign began against Greek outfit Olympiacos, whom they overcame thanks to an early goal from Raheem Sterling, who tapped in after Daniel Sturridge's shot was deflected into his path. Next up, the Reds had to face Manchester City. Liverpool didn't have the lead at any point during the game until the penalty shootout, which they won 3-1 after the game finished 2-2. Finally, Liverpool faced AC Milan, a side who were already eliminated from the tournament. The game finished 2-0 to Liverpool and the Reds celebrated reaching the final undefeated.

Liverpool will fancy their chances in this game, after beating United twice last season. The sides met at Anfield early in the season, and Liverpool ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a goal from Daniel Sturridge in the 4th minute. The next time the sides met was at Old Trafford in March 2014. Liverpool were fighting to achieve a top 4 spot, if not the title. Manchester United however, were looking to turn their season around and possibly achieve a European place for next season. However, United's goal looked even more unlikely after this game, as Liverpool left Old Trafford as winners after destroying the Red Devils thanks to 2 goals from Steven Gerrard and one from Luis Suarez.

However both sides have players who can (and most likely will) affect the outcome of the game. Firstly, United have De Gea in goal. When the Spaniard is on form, he's nearly unbeatable, down to his agility and willingness to get in the way of the ball with any part of his body. Van Gaal will be hoping De Gea will bring his all against Liverpool, and he hasn't be bad so far in the tournament. Next up, United have Juan Mata. The Spaniard only signed for United in January, but since then has become a key part of the squad and has had a heavy impact on numerous games since moving to Manchester. He too is another player who will have a huge impact if he brings his all to Miami. The final player for the Red Devils is Wayne Rooney. Rooney has been at the club since he was just a teenager and over 10 years, he's had a huge impact on United and their success. He's also scored some wonder goals, such as his stunning 45-yard volley against West Ham last season. Fans and players alike are hoping Rooney turns up and gives his all in tonight's game.

Liverpool aren't without their share of game changers though. For a start, Steven Gerrard will be in the centre of the pitch, influencing every move and pass the Reds play. He'll also be looking out for a chance to get on the scoresheet. However, it's becoming increasingly difficult for Gerrard to play a full match as he's getting older and the game is getting quicker. But Liverpool have more than just Gerrard. Raheem Sterling will be looking to get on the scoresheet and have a huge impact on the game as he has for the past season. But without Daniel Sturridge, Rickie Lambert is likely to play in attack for the Reds. Having signed for Southampton for a measly £4 million, Lambert has been impressive in his first couple of games for Liverpool, but has failed to be clinical on front of goal.

However, no one knows quite how this game will play out, but we know that it is likely to be a tight game. Many are looking forward to the clash of these two sides and all know it will be a tasty encounter.
