With the January transfer window approaching quickly, talk of new signings at Manchester United is hot once more. Fulham's young striker Moussa Dembele is attracting attention from the Premier League side.

19-year-old Dembele has been in superb form this season for Fulham, who are currently 13th in the Sky Bet Championship. The 'starlet' has reportedly been targeted by other huge clubs like Bayern Munich.

Dembele has scored 8 times in the league and once in the League Cup for Fulham already in his second season with the first team, failing to score in the 2014/15 season.

Manchester United watching Fulham's Moussa Dembele

Having joined from French champions Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 for a surprisingly high figure of £250,000, Dembele has been developing in the under-21 side, with attention from big clubs, since.

Sky Sports report that Man United have been watching the Frenchman closely this season with a possible eye to prise him away from Craven Cottage in the January transfer window.

Dembele has represented France at all youth levels, scoring 5 times for the under-19 side and making his under-20 debut in September.

United have, now famously, striker problems. Despite being 3rd in the Premier League and a win away from the UEFA Champions League knockout rounds, Louis van Gaal's side could certainly do with a new striker.

United have striker issues with Rooney and Martial

Captain Wayne Rooney is having the worst season of his career with his two goals in the league. Another young French striker Anthony Martial had a stunning start to his United career after a shocking £36million move to Manchester. Martial scored on his debut against Liverpool  before grabbing a further few goals in both the league and Champions League.

However, goals for him have dried up somewhat in the past few matches. James Wilson was surprisingly loaned out to Brighton & Hove Albion for the rest of the season leaving Martial and Rooney as the only two strikers at Old Trafford.
