There we go, all done and dusted, Manchester United eased through in the end going through 6-3 overall. Two goals from debutant Rashford, an own goal, Herrera and Memphis sealed an big win for Manchester United. I've been Tom Mason, taking you through this Europa League tie, and until next time - goodnight!

Full-time: Manchester United 5-1 FC Midtjylland

90: Into three minutes of added time at the end of this tie.

89: Memphis caps a superb display with a powerful low shot. Moments earlier, Romer received a second yellow card for a pull on the Dutchman. This one is definitely over now and United have been nothing short of superb in this second half and deserve to go through to the last 16.

GOAL! United 5 Midtjylland 1. Memphis gets the fifth!!

88: He scores to send Manchester United into the last 16. The penalty came from a hand-ball by Kian Hansen in the box. Somewhat surprisingly United didn't allow Rashford to take the penalty to collect his hat-trick.

ANOTHER PENALTY TO UNITED HERREA TO TAKE!!

87: Another change for Manchester United, more to run down the clock than anything else I'd imagine. Off goes Jesse Lingard, on comes Andreas Pereira.

85: Juan Mata peels off to the left channel, looking up to see Jesse Lingard lurking. But the Spain midfielder cannot find his team-mate, allowing Midjtylland to nervously lump the ball clear.

83: Manchester United look the more likely of the teams to net again, with Memphis especially dangerous, but Onuachu has headed a chance over. Midtjylland are throwing the kitchen sink at it now as they have got nothing to lose in this tie.

76: More on the goal, Varela chips an excellent cross to Rashford at the far post and the youngster confidently fires home a half-volley. Not a bad night for a player who wasn't even supposed to be starting.

GOAL RASHFORD AGAIN!! 3-1 UNITED!!

72:  Yellow card. Jesse Lingard is booked for simulation after going down in the box under Romer's challenge. Were United to progress the youngster would be suspended for the first leg.

63: It's a dream strike for the Manchester-born youngster, who side-foots home Juan Mata's pull-back to make it 3-3 on aggregate. The game is well an truly on now and with 27 minutes left to play it enables enough time for United to find a winner as the last thing they want is extra-time with Arsenal in town on Sunday.

GOAL! United 2 Midtjylland 1. Marcus Rashford scores on his debut!

62: Memphis Depay is doing his best to pump up the volume at Old Trafford. The United winger gives Midtjylland right-back Andre Romer more nightmares, beating his man only to see another dark shirt block his shot from a tight angle.

60: Midjtylland are breaking on the counter. A dangerous cross is slung in from the right, with Paul Onuachu waiting to nod in. But Sergio Romero out-jumps the away forward to collect the ball.

57: The frenetic pace of this game has slowed somewhat in the last few minutes. Midtjylland are taking their time at set-pieces.

50: Memphis beats his man on the left and dinks the ball over to Herrera, who's on his own in the box but can only head wide.

49: United have a great chance as Mata picks out an unmarked Schneiderlin at the far post but he can't direct his volley on target. United have begun the half well and are well in control of the game.

46: No changes for the hosts, but Midtjylland have brought on first-leg scorer Onuachu in place of Urena.

45: We're back underway, the second half has began.

A real treat of a first half at Old Trafford as both sides have entertained the expectant crowd at Old Trafford. United have been the better side and would be ahead on the night had Mata of not seen his penalty saved two minutes before half time.

Half-Time: Manchester United 1-1 FC Midtjylland

45: One minute added time at the end of a breathless half of football in Manchester.

43: Penalty saved. Andersen guesses correctly to keep out Mata's spot-kick low to his right, to keep the score at 1-1 on the night.

PENALTY TO UNITED! Ander Herrera is upended in the box.

38: United should be further ahead as Schneiderlin attempts an athletic overhead kick inside the box, which sails just wide of the post. This game is really flowing now and could go either way as we approach half time at Old Trafford.

35: Yellow card for Midtjylland's Filip Novak for a heavy challenge on Jesse Lingard. This game has been sparked into life by the two goals and is a real contest now and one which is going to be a fantastic watch right up to the final whistle.

32: United respond straight away as Midtjylland defender Nikolay Bodurov shanks Memphis Depay's left-wing cross into his own net. The tie is alive again but another Midtjylland goal changes everything.

GOAL MANCHESTER UNITED!!! An own goal by Bodurov!!

30: Totally against the run of play, United have been dominant throughout the first half an haven't take their chances and their being made to pay.

28: Where on earth has that come from the visitors have the lead with their first shot of the night. The first-leg scorer weaves his way past a couple of United defenders and fires low past Romero. It's now 3-1 to the visitors on aggregate.

GOAL FC MIDTJYLLAND!! Pione Sisto does it again!!

28: The visitors win a free-kick and send both centre-backs forward but it's a complete waste and goes out for a goal kick. They haven't had a single shot so far.

23: Lots of possession for the hosts so far and Rashford's pace is causing problems. Lingard went close when his block hit the side-netting.

17: United should be a goal up, Rashford cuts inside from the left before hitting a low shot which is palmed behind for a corner to the visitors.

15: A real exciting game so far, end to end, but no real clear-cut chances, and both of United's young full-backs Riley and Varela have got forward well so far.

8: Manchester United have had the better of the opening minutes, but have yet to really create very much. Midjtylland have whetherd the early storm so far.

3: A quiet start to the game, both teams holding possession well in the early stages.

0: Kick-off, underway at Old Trafford.

19:57: The players are back in the dressing room and we're just over five minutes from kick-off here at Old Trafford.

19:55: Liverpool held on in the end coming out 1-0 winners, to progress to the last 16 of the competition.

19:30: We can bring you the news that Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has injured himself in the warm-up and will be replaced by Marcus Rashford who will make his debut.

19:25: We're heading into the last 25 minutes of the 6:00pm kick-offs and as it stands Liverpool will be strolling into tomorrow's draw and will be joined by Gary Neville's Valenica who are currently 8-0 up on aggregate against Rapid Vienna.

19:05: We're at half-time in the 6:00pm kick-offs and Liverpool are 1-0 up after Milner gave them an early lead from the spot at Anfield.

19:03: And lining up for FC Midjtylland: Andersen, Rømer, Hansen, Bodurov, Novak, Sparv, Poulsen, Olsson, Hassan, Sisto, Urena

19:00: It's team news time! Here's the Manchester United 11: S.Romero; Varela, Carrick, Blind, Riley; Schneiderlin, Ander Herrera; Lingard, Mata, Memphis; Martial.

As for Manchester United they're full of injuries as David de Gea, Wayne Rooney, Marouane Fellaini, Matteo Darmian, Will Keane, Phil Jones, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw are all definitely out. Antonio Valencia and Marcos Rojo have both returned to training and may make the bench, whilst youngster Cameron-Borthwick-Jackson is expected return from illness.

The visitors made the long trip to Manchester yesterday morning before training on the hallow turf last night at the 75,000 seater stadium. The visitors have got a strong squad to choose upon as only Petter Andersson is currently on the side-lines with a serious knee-injury. Other than this everyone else is available for the trip to Manchester which gives them great hope of pulling off the unthinkable.

FC Midtjylland have one player who has experienced playing in England and that is midfielder and captain Tim Sparv who like many others came through the ranks at Southampton before being offloaded to Denmark. The Danish champions are starting to build up a great reputation on themselves as they have only lost two games out of the nine they have played so far in the competition both to Italian giants Napoli in the group stages.

The visitors have got nothing to lose heading into this tie as nobody expects them to beat Manchester United over two legs, and so all the pressure is on Louis van Gaal and his side as they are one of the biggest clubs in the world currently and the play in the largest league in the world. The visitors also played Southampton earlier on in the competition and once they were a goal up they basically "parked the bus" and made it incredibly tough for the Saints to force their way through, you would expect something along those lines to happen from the outset at Old Trafford this evening.

United come into this game on the back of an easy 3-0 win over Shrewsbury in the FA Cup on Monday evening. That game was about as easy a match as they could of asked for in preparation for the second leg and it enabled some of the younger players to showcase what they can offer. As for Midtjylland they had no fixture last weekend and so they remain fresh and ready for the challenge of United, and although there professionals you would say that the condition of the Danish sides players could have a bearing on the final outcome.

The first leg was a great spectacle to watch as many expected Manchester United to ease through. They lost the 'keeper David De Gea in the warm-up and although Serigo Romero filled in well he was unable to prevent the Danish side from taking a lead into the all-important second leg. United started the tie very well and even went ahead through Dutchman Memphis Depay in the 37th minute. United controlled much of the first half only to be pegged back on the stroke of half time through Pione Sisto to give the hosts an undeserved leveller. The visitors continued to press and dominate looking for the winner in the tie, but it was the hosts who went on to grab the winner of the tie through Paul Onuachu with just 13 minutes remaining to give his side a slender lead heading to Manchester.

This is a massive fixture in the hosts' season as defeat in the Europa League against such a small club would be one of the biggest shocks in football in recent history and many people would see it as something of a backward step for United as a club.
