With three teams vying for second spot and potentially a place in next summer's Euro 2017, Group 6 of qualifying is certainly one of the most intriguing and exciting.
Switzerland are top with a 100 per cent record and assured of qualification, but who will finish behind them in second is up in the air.
Italy are in pole position but, after this week's results, both the Czech Republic and Northern Ireland can still cause an upset in the group.
Swiss secure top spot in style
Switzerland only had one game to play this week, but they used it effectively as they ensured their place in next year's tournament with a 5-0 win over the Czechs.
They set the tone for the affair when Fabienne Humm put them a goal up after only four minutes, with them in control from there on out.
Martina Moser doubled this lead before the break, and Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic was even able to make it three with five minutes remaining in the first half.
After the interval, Crnogorcevic bagged her brace from the spot and Moser followed suit with a fifth in the final minute of the 90, with the Swiss ensuring that they will be in the Netherlands for the Euros.
Georgia slump to an unmovable fifth finish
Before the Swiss were on cloud nine, Georgia hit rock bottom as they were assured of nothing better than a fifth placed finish - in a group of five.
Northern Ireland dealt them the first blow, beating them 4-0 in Belfast. Simone Magill stole the headlines, with her opener after 11 seconds the fastest ever women's international goal, while Marissa Callaghan added a brace to make it three before half time.
Rachel Furness rounded the win off in the final minute of the 90, with the UK nation keeping their hopes of qualification well alive.
If that defeat wasn't demotivating enough though, Georgia then suffered a huge 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Italy just days later.
Raffaella Manieri, Daniela Sabatino and Ilaria Mauro were all on the scoresheet, while both Cristiana Girelli and Barbara Bonansea added braces to take the total to seven for the day.
The Italians are now in pole position to take second place, but will have to resist the pressure expected to be applied by the Czechs and the Northern Irish to secure it.
Big win for the Czechs
The final game of the four played in this group this week was a huge six-pointer between the Czech Republic and Northern Ireland, with the winner looking to keep themselves well within a chance of clinching second.
It was the former, the hosts, who came out on top, with 3-0 the final score.
Lucie Vonkova opened the scoring with only three minutes on the clock, and things got even worse for the visitors when Klara Cahynova doubled the lead before the interval.
Eva Bartonova then ensured the three points midway through the second half, which saw the Czechs leapfrog the away side into third.
They are now three points off of second, but Northern Ireland could be as well if they take advantage of their game in hand.
However, one of these two are likely to be out of the race mathematically in August when they clash again in the reverse, hoping to concern Italy and have them anxiously looking over their shoulders in second.
