Lotta Schelin has today been officially announced as an FC Rosengard player.
Schelin left Olympique Lyonnais at the end of the Division 1 Feminine season and has now returned to her homeland to join the reigning Damallsvenskan champions.
The three-year deal that the Sweden international has signed will start as of July 15, with her to stay in Malmö until 2018.
"It feels good to be in place at least," said Schelin upon her unveiling, with there having been a ton of rumours of a return to former club Göteborg FC before her next club was finally revealed.
Rosengård are more than happy to have waited it out though, with Sporting Director Therese Sjögran excited about what Schelin can bring to the club's "offensive game."

Schelin joins Rosengård with an incredible CV on her hands. In France, the 32-year-old clinched eight league titles, four Coupe de France Féminine trophies and three UEFA Women's Champions League winners' medals with Lyon - picking up one of each this season as the team did the treble.
Now, she has her sights set on breaking Rosengård into Europe's list of elite clubs; often regarded as Lyon, Paris Saint-Germain, VfL Wolfsburg and 1. FFC Frankfurt.
The latter knocked the Swedes out of the competition this season, beating them on penalties at the quarter-final stage.
However, Schelin is positive about her new side's chances of improving on the continent, saying that the only thing that has been separating them from the top four in recent years is "small margins."
She continued, saying: "I can not see how they can not go all the way."
The forward, who scored 14 goals in 18 league games this season, certainly has enough winning experience and the winning mentality to help drive the team to success, that's for sure.
