Two matches remain in the spring season of the Damallsvenskan and the side currently occupying second place, Eskilstuna United announced a new acquisition for the autumn season; the australian international Chloe Logarzo.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is currently in camp with the Australian national team, where she is hoping to earn a spot in the side that will travel to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The Australians are in Group F along with Germany, Canada and Zimbabwe. After the Olympics, she will joing up with her new team-mates to feature in the Damallsvenskan and UEFA Women's Champions League for United.

Promising career at national level and success in a short period in the United States

Logarzo began her career with Sydney FC during the 2011-12 W-League season, and made her debut in a 4-1 victory over Newcastle Jets on 12 November 2011. Her second, and final, appearance of the season cam in the 3-0 victory over Perth Glory.

She remained with Sydney for the 2012-13 season and scored her first goal for the club against Perth Glory on 17 November 2012, but was unable to prevent Sydney from losing. She was on the scoresheet once more in the following game, scoring twice in a 4-0 victory over Adelaide United on 24 November 2012.

Logarzo played a total of twelve league games over the course of the season, scoring three times as Sydney won the W-League title for the second time.

Logarzo joined Colorado Pride in the USA for the 2014 USL W-League. Logarzo led the Pride to a historic play off birth in their inaugural season with eight goals and seven assists in 10 games as well as being named the 2014 USL W-League Rookie of the year.

In the 2015/16 season she played for the Newcastle Jets.

Excellent prospects in their first experience at European level.

Speaking to the official website of the club, she said: "I am really happy to continue my journey with Eskilstuna United and can not wait to come over to Sweden and to develop my football. I look forward to the footballing experience, and would describe myself as a hard-working and creative player."

Coach, Viktor Eriksson added: "We are pleased to have been able to strengthen our team with Chloe. I'm convinced that she will add to our game and it will give us more choices and competition for places."
