Jose Mourinho's recruitment in reigning in his new era at Old Trafford shows no of abating.
The new Manchester United manager has stamped his authority since arriving in the Old Trafford hotseat, with the additions of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal, winger Henrik Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund and the marquee signing of enigmatic Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portuguese is keen on bringing in a second recruit from Les Rouge-et-Bleu within the addition of PSG central midfielder, Blaise Matuidi.
Midfielder key to France's summer exploits
PSG enforcer Matuidi has been increasingly linked to The Red Devils over the past week, with the French midfielder playing an instrumental role in guiding his country to final of Euro 2016.
When quizzed over a possible switch to the Premier League however, Matuidi refused to discuss such speculation.
Speaking in a news conference (via ESPNFC) ahead of Les Bleus' showdown with Portugal on Sunday evening, Matuidi stated, "You know it's not the topic".
'One hundred percent focused on the Euros'
The Frenchman continued, "I am 100% focused on the Euro's. I am deeply living this event."
The 29 year-old has his full attention on lifting the Henri Dalauney Trophy at the Stade de France, and is not wanting his attention to be swayed.
"I am living a moment in time that we may not live again in our lives". Matuidi finishes by stating his contractual obligations to PSG.
"As I always say, I've a contract with PSG and that's it"
Since moving the perennial French champions from Saint-Etienne in 2011, Matuidi has built up 165 appearances with 19 goals scored. Internationally, he has become an integral part of the Didier Deschamps' side, having reached his 50th cap in their semi-final victory over Germany.
Victory for France however, may lead to complications in any departure, with PSG determined to hold onto their asset.
