After victories on the opening day of the season, both Swansea City and Hull City will be confident in a game that both sides will feel they can grab three points.
Two passing sides look to control the tempo
Mike Phelan's Hull are unlike to deviate too much from the eleven that played the whole 90 minutes against Leicester City last weekend, although they will face different challenges on their trip to Wales this weekend.
Ever since gaining promotion to the Premier League, Swansea have always likely to play free-flowing attractive passing football. Hull are a team that like to do the same and it will be interesting to see who can take control of the tempo of the game.
When the hosts get on the ball they will look to feed their wingers Wayne Routledge and Modou Barrow. The pair possess pace in abundance, though they are likely to meet their match in Andrew Robertson and Ahmed Elmohamady who coped admirably with Leicester's fast wingers last weekend.
Their target will be new signing Fernando Llorente. Whilst the versatile Jake Livermore dealt with Jamie Vardy and Ahmed Musa alongside Curits Davies in the opening game, the Spaniard will offer a different problem. Strong, skillful and a threat in the air, Livermore will have to be alert as he continues to play out of position.
Greatest test yet for Clucas
Much of Swansea's play goes through the talented Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Icelandic international is likely to be picked up by young midfielder Sam Clucas. The Hull anchorman has reverted from his favourite left midfield position and saw a string of recent good performances rewarded with a new contract, though the movement and guile of Sigurdsson will test him to his limit.
Adama Diomande will also have a key role for the visitors. If he plays wide left as he did against Leicester, the Norwegian will be tasked with tracking Kyle Naughton as to not leave Robertson exposed. He will then be expected to join Abel Hernandez in attack as the Tigers look to test a Swansea defence depleted by the sale of Ashley Williams to Everton.
