That brings to an end to today's live Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace. I have been Brandon Sayer and until next time have a good evening.

For the second successive week Pardew's side have conceded a late winner which leaves the team on zero points from two games. They must turn this around next time round of they will be further adrift.

Well Spurs got what they deserved in the end by finally getting the winning goal but it came from someone you wouldn't have expected to come from. Wanyama on his home debut got the winner seven minutes from the end to give his team their first three points of the season

90+6' - The referee blows his whistle for full time. Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Crystal Palace.

90+5' - Spurs substitution: Lamela is replaced by Tom Carroll.

90+1' - The referee has decided to add on five minutes at the end of the second half.

90' - Spurs substitution: kane is replaced by Onomah.

88' - Townsend receives a yellow card for showing dissent towards the linesman.

83' - Goal for Spurs! A corner kick was whipped in the box from Lamela but it was cleared to Harry kane who headed the ball back into the box to where Wanyama was and the midfielder headed past Hennessy on his home debut to give his side the lead.

79' - Alli almost gives the home the lead but his shot just went over the top of the bar from the edge of the box.

77' - Dier recieves a yellow card for a late tackle on Lee.

69' - What a miss from Janseen! A brilliant through pass from Alli found the big striker through on goal one on one with Hennessy but the striker put his shot wide. Unbelievable miss.

68' - Spurs substitution: Eriksen is replaced by Dele Alli.

68' - Vertonghen receives a yellow card for a foul on Lee.

66' - Scott Dann receives a yellow card for pulling Janssen's shirt after the striker looked to get away from the defender.

61' - What a chance for Cabaye to give Palace the lead! A brilliant pass from Townsend finds Cabaye in space inside the box but the midfielder put his shot well over the bar. He has to be doing better there.

60' - Walker receives a yellow card for pulling Zaha's shirt when he was looking to start a counter attack for Palace.

55' - Just as I said that Spurs went up the other end and Kane just put his header wide of the goal. The chance came from a brilliant cross from Eric Dier.

54' - Cabaye has the first effort of the second half for the visitors but his shot is harmless and goes wide of the goal. The home side are struggling to do much in this half so far.

46' - The referee blows his whistle to get the second half underway. Game on!

Half-time substitution for Crystal Palace: Yohan Cabaye is on to replace Joe Ledley.

Spurs are once again being frustrated by the opposition but they really should have scored one of the chances they have created. The Eagles on the other hand started well but have struggled with really the only chance of them looking like scoring has been from counter attacks. Both managers will be looking for much more in the second half. Stay tuned as we bring you the second half in a few minutes time!

45+2' - The referee blows his whistle to end the first half. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Crystal Palace.

45+2' - What a chance for Kane to give his side the lead before half-time! A brilliant cut back from Lamela found Kane in space at the edge of the box with noone about but the striker put his shot wide. He should have done so much better.

45' - The referee has decided to add on two minutes at the end of the first half.

35' - We have a break in play at the moment as Eric Dier recieves treatment for getting hit by the ball were it hurts. The crowd love that kind of thing though.

27' - Triple save from Hennessey! Firstly Kane worked himself some space outside the box and his shot was deflected so the keeper had to get down well to keep it out but he spilt it and Janssen was there but the keeper made himself big to keep out the striker on two occasions.

26' - The first yellow card of the game is awarded to Zaha for a late tackle on Alderweireld which the referee wasnt going to let go unpunished.

20' - The home side are starting pile on the pressure now with Wanyama heading the ball just over the bar after another fantastic corner from Lamela.

12' - What a miss from Alderweireld! A brilliant corner was swung in by Lamela which found the defender unmarked in the six yard box but he headed the ball straight at Hennessey with the goal at his mercy.

10' - The home side are having plenty of the ball early on but are struggling to break down a stubborn Palace defence. Kane is already coming short looking to get on the ball.

2' - The visitors have started well here and they forced Vorm into an early save. A good lay back from Zaha found Puncheon on the edge of the box and the midfielder hit his shot straight at Vorm. Good bright start.

1' - The referee blows his whistle to get the game underway. Game on!

Kick-off is just under ten minutes away and it is a big game for both teams as they look to get their first win on the board. The selections for both sides are interesting with Vincent Janssen coming into the starting lineup for Spurs as Pochettino decides to go with two up front. For the Eagles Yohan Cabaye still can't get in the team and has to settle for a place on the bench. Stay tuned as we bring you the live text commentary from the match next!

We'll have confirmed team news for you at around 2:00PM BST but before that, stay with us as the build up to the game continues.

Crystal Palace predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Cabaye, Puncheon; Zaha, Lee, Townsend; Wickham.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI (4-2-3-1)Vorm; Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dier, Wanyama; Lamela, Alli, Eriksen; Kane.

The key players to look out for during the game will be Alli and Andros Townsend. When Spurs were excellent last season Alli was a big part of the reason as he was always involved in something positive going forward with the ball. The midfielders link up play with Kane was superb and it nearly took the team to the title. Townsend is the one to look out for the Eagles as he is looking to make an impression at his new club and gain an England place ahead of the friendlies next month.

For Palace, Alan Pardew has revealed that Yohan Cabaye, Jordan Mutch and James McArthur will all travel with the squad for the game after not featuring in the game last week. Since last week though Palace have lost two players in the form of Yannick Bolasie and Mile Jedinak who have both transferred to different clubs.

In terms of team news for the game, Mauricio Pochettino will be without captain Hugo Lloris after he sustained a hamstring injury which will keep him out for a month. Michel Vorm will replace the Frenchman in nets. Moussa Dembele is also out of the game as he is still serving his suspension that he picked up in the game against Chelsea last season. The good news though is that Son, who missed the last game due to injury, is available for the game but will be assessed to see how long he could play.

Spurs want to be up challenging this season for the title this season and games like this is one they must get a good result from. Palace on the other hand have had a terrible 2016 winning only two of their 20 games to date and they will be looking to change that this weekend.

Last season the game at White Hart Lane finished 1-0 to Spurs with the winner coming from Son Heung-min. The win for the Lillywhites back was their first home win of the season and they will be hoping that history will repeat itself on Saturday. Spurs also came out on top when the sides met at Selhurst Park later in the season when Spurs also came out on top 3-1 with goals that day coming from Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Nacer Chadli.

Spurs drew their opener at Goodison Park against Everton after Erik Lamela scored in the second half. The Eagles, on the other hand, lost their opener at home to West Bromwich Albion after Solomon Rondon scored a late winner for the Baggies. Both teams will take heart from their opening match though that they managed to create plenty of chances which they failed to take.

This game takes on real significance for both teams are they both failed to win their opening matches. A loss for either team will leave them having to catch up which is something they do not want to be doing.
