All over for Liverpool, who absolutely dominated that game bar the last few minutes after the West Brom goal, and even then they still had chances. The Reds broke West Brom down in the first half with two superb goals, and had much easier chances to add to their lead in the second half, but couldn't quite manage it. McAuley's goal gave the Baggies hope, but they weren't really good enough to get anything from the game.

90+3: West Brom continue to launch long balls forward, Liverpool almost seal it as Wijnaldum leaves Foster flatfooted, his effort wide.
90: Three minutes of added time, a cross launched into Rondon, his header towards Nyom in vain as the full-back is offside. Liverpool make their final change, Mane off for Origi. He's got a goal and an assist today.
89: Henderson booked for dissent, that's his fifth yellow card of the season and a one game suspension for the Liverpool skipper.
88: Defensive change for Liverpool, Lucas off for Coutinho.
87: The free-kick is floated in and comes to Robson-Kanu, Lovren blocking his shot brilliantly.
86: Coutinho is the one to drive forward now, sending a shot straight into Foster's grateful arms. West Brom clear, and win a free-kick just into the Liverpool half.
85: Liverpool allowed to breathe as Chadli lamps one over from 25 yards out.
84: Another fantastic save from Foster keeps West Brom in the game! Firmino set up by Wijnaldum as Liverpool break, but his shot is beaten away.
82: Liverpool again undone from a set-piece, the ball hitting McAuley's shoulder and bouncing up for the centre-back to hammer in.

80: Cheap foul from James Milner on Hal Robson-Kanu, giving West Brom a good area from which to deliver a free-kick. McAuley arriving at the back post, but Karius makes a good save, pushing it out for a corner.
79: Here's that first change for Liverpool. Lallana, making his first start after injury, off for Wijnaldum, who gets his first minutes after injury.
74: The ball almost breaks for Rondon in the area before Matip pokes it towards Morrison, who shoots over. Perhaps time for a Liverpool change or two, just to give the Reds some more energy against the away substitutions.
73: Although Liverpool have completely controlled the second half, they haven't added to their lead. Maybe, just maybe, if West Brom can get one...
69: West Brom, with their first corner of the game, unsurprisingly cause Liverpool a problem. The Reds can't clear first time, Chadli free in the area, spooning his shot high and wide.
66: Fantastic pass from Milner sets Coutinho on the break, the Brazilian sets up Can, the German's goalbound shot brilliantly blocked by Olsson.
64: Robson-Kanu on, McClean off for West Brom.
62: Liverpool won't stop attacking. Lallana and Coutinho get a little confused in the area, the ball breaking for Can who fires over.
58: Close! Coutinho's ball in from the following free-kick is brillaint, Lovren's header kept out by a superb save from Foster's outstretched hand.
57: Another chance as Liverpool's patient play is rewarded when Coutinho puts Firmino in, Foster saving well. McClean booked for a late one on Henderson on the edge of the area.
55: Firmino with a sensational flick off one boot to the other and through Dawson's legs, the defender dragging him down for a free-kick.
50: Domination from Liverpool. Can finds Clyne in acres, the Englishman's cross forced away just about. West Brom making another change, James Morrison replacing Philipps.
49: Coutinho attempts to thread Firmino through with a well-weighted through ball, but Olsson leans on the forward enough to let Foster claim it.
47: Liverpool looking for a third straightaway, with Mane finding Coutinho emerging from the left wing. The Brazilian shimmies inside a little more, but his shot's blocked.

I said that Tony Pulis wouldn't be happy with Yacob, and the midfielder has been taken off at the break. Brunt on.
Liverpool hadn't played briliantly before bursting into life with that fantastic openng goal, Can, Coutinho and Firmino involved before Mane applied the finish. The second goal was all about Coutinho, a brilliant fake-shot before a cool finish. You'd struggle to see a way back for West Brom from here, unless they can get one from a set-piece and then apply some pressure.

42: Lovely skill from Emre Can, Fletcher with a late tackle and he's spoken to. Claudio Yacob goes up to Neil Swarbrick, shouts quite a lot, and is booked. He's now suspended for the next game. Sure Pulis will appreciate that one, Claudio.
39: Confidence throughout the Liverpool side, lovely skill from Firmino to give the ball to Clyne, the right-back shoots wide.
36: Stupendous stuff from Philippe Coutinho. A poor Ben Foster clearance breaks for Mane, who gives it to Coutinho on the left hand side of the area. Completely selling both Olsson and Dawson with his first touch, the Brazilian cuts inside before rattling the ball into Foster's near post.

32: Liverpool counter, Can and Lallana linking up before the latter curls wide.
31: A definite lull in the game after that superb opening goal. West Brom not sure how aggressively to push for an equaliser, whilst - having now broken the bus - Liverpool aren't sure whether to sit on their lead or drive for more quick goals.
27: Lovely drop of the shoulder and cross from Nathaniel Clyne, Emre Can going for the ball which somehow evades everyone.
21: That is an absolutely wonderful goal from Liverpool. Coutinho with a wonderful dummy in midfield, the ball running to Can who drives forward, shifting it left a touch to Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian gets his head up and crosses for Mane, Nyom missing the ball, the winger taking full advantage to calmly volley past Ben Foster.

18: Henderson crosses for Milner as Liverpool work it down the right, the left-back heading over.
16: Firmino and Mane with a one-two that opens up the Baggies a little, however Mane can't quite get his pass right and the danger is cleared.
14: West Brom with a counter as Lallana loses the ball, Chadli, Rondon and Philipps bursting forward, but Liverpool get the legs back to deal with it.
13: Quiet start at Anfield. West Brom employing the same low defensive block that United did on Monday. It's up to Liverpool to get through them.
6: Lallana going through the gears as he bursts into the box, the ball eventually falling for Coutinho who has a powerful effort blocked.
3: Quick start from the hosts as they look to zip the ball around, starting from the back with Karius. Mane wants a penalty as he goes down under pressure from Nyom, but it would have been a very harsh one.

One change to the Liverpool side that came up against Manchester United on Monday, Adam Lallana coming in for Daniel Sturridge, which moves Coutinho into a more advanced role. Wijnaldum is fit enough for the Liverpool bench, whilst as expected Olsson is into the West Brom side for Evans.

Looking at some key quotes ahead of the game, Liverpool boss Klopp said, about West Brom's defensive style, "We need to find a way to play that [the style]. We need to be angry, but in the same moment we need to be patient enough – the crowd and the players." Ahead of a tricky run of fixtures for West Brom, Pulis commented "The games that are coming up are difficult but ones we should embrace. Anfield is wonderful."
Regarding team news today, it looks like Georginio Wijnaldum will come back into the Liverpool squad having missed the United game through a hamstring injury. Adam Lallana should be fit enough to go from the bench to the starting 11, possibly in Daniel Sturridge's place. West Brom will be without Jonny Evans, who has a suspension.
In this fixture last season, West Brom were on track to take all three points, having responded to Jordan Henderson's opening goal by scoring twice and taking the lead themselves. However, after constant tides of home pressure, Divock Origi's deflected effort found its way past a stranded Ben Foster, leaving the final score at 2-2. The two teams shared the spoils once more on the final day of the season, Salomon Rondon and Jordon Ibe on the scoresheet in a 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns.
Still, West Brom's early season form may give them hope of a win today, as they've started fairly well under Pulis. 12th in the league, just a point off ninth at the start of the day, they're unbeaten in four and earned an impressive draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur next weekend, and would have become the first side to beat Spurs in the league this season were it not for Dele Alli's late equaliser.
There is reason for West Brom to be confident though, as there are specific games in which Liverpool have struggled this season. Burnley, the only side to have taken three points off Jürgen Klopp's side, did so with early goals and excellent defending. Much more recently, Jose Mourinho's Manchester United frustrated at Anfield on Monday night with a defensive tactic, gaining a 0-0 draw, one which you'd imagine the Baggies would happily take today.
However, there is of course a reason as to why Liverpool are clear favourites for this one, it's their sublime early season form. Fourth in the table, at the time of writing, the Reds are unbeaten in eight games in all competitions, having lost just one of their eight league games so far.
Although many will have the home side down as clear favourites for this game, Tony Pulis' record at Anfield is impressive, having won one and drawn five of his last six visits to the ground, remaining undefeated with his Stoke City, Crystal Palace and West Brom sides.
