That's it, Manchester City's winless run extends to five games as they draw 1-1 for the second consecutive Premier League game. They did come from behind, after Redmond's first half goal had put Southampton ahead, with Kelechi Iheahacho coming on at half-time and levelling up 10 minutes later. Still, that was their only goal of the game, with the spoils shared.

90+5: Sterling overruns the ball in possibly City's last attack of the game, and has the ball taken from his toes.
90+2: Into five minutes of added time, Fernandinho letting one fly from distance - well over the bar. Forster booked for time wasting.

89: It's getting scrappy now as the home side press for a winner, Southampton with all 11 men behind the ball as they look to preserve their point.
84: Aguero looking to get it alone for City as he drives down the left hand side of the area, his shot going too far across the other way and wide ofthe post.
82: Saints with their third and final change, Austin off for James Ward-Prowse, Puel seemingly looking to stick with a point.
75: Chance! Boufal with a nice pass that frees Austin in the area, but the striker can't quite get his angles right, shooting straight at Bravo who saves comfortably.
72: Southampton overload City with a counter-attack that leaves five - two, but Martina can't get his pass right and it's badly controlled by Boufal.
70: Southampton now are making that change, Tadic is off for Boufal.
69: Iheanacho and Gundogan link up well on the edge of the area, with Fraser Forster forced into action, tipping the midfielder's eventual effort wide.
68: That's odd. Tadic was coming off, but then ushered back on, so Boufal isn't on yet. That's likely due to concerns over a knock to Van Dijk.
67: Southampton with two changes, Clasie and Tadic off for Boufal and Hojbjerg, the latter making his Premier League debut.
64: Close! Iheanacho with a quick turn and cross in the area, it deflects off Fonte and rolls just wide of the post.
63: City sweeping forward now in numbers, Sterling with another good cross that somehow evades it's targets.
57: Kompany yellow carded for a late one on Van Dijk as the Saints defender looked to help his side counter.
55: The home side ARE level this time, and it's the substitute who's scored just 10 minutes after coming on. Fernandinho found Sane with a long-raking pass, and the young German rolled the ball across the area for Iheanacho to divert it into the corner. 1-1!

53: Ooooh, that's a lovely ball across the face of the Southampton defence by Raheem Sterling, but neither Iheanacho or Aguero can get the crucial touch. Meanwhile, Romeu is into the book.
50: Quiet start to the second half but Kolarov is into the book for needlessley blocking off Austin, given the striker had taken a heavy touch.
45: Back underway.
City making a half-time change... and it's De Bruyne off for Iheanacho.
That's the first half over and done with, a tough half for City, who haven't got into their flow going forward and are behind after Redmond capitalised on Stones' mistake.

45: Yellow card for Clasie as we enter two minutes of stoppage time.
40: Five minutes left in the first half, can Manchester City find an equaliser before the break? It's all gone abit hush after a whirlwind few minutes, for John Stones especially.
34: Yes, it's Aguero's offside. John Stones will be gutted, the Argentinean striker got a slight touch on the ball off his hair as it flew across the penalty area.
33: Hang on? GOAL RULED OUT! What a strange turn of events, as the goal is ruled out extremely late on, and nobody's quite sure why for some time. It appears that perhaps a late offside was given, with Aguero - who got a touch on the ball as it went through to Stones - being in an offside position. More on that as it's clarified.
32: The most relieved man in the ground, Stones is on hand at the back post to level for City with a sweeping finish from a curled free-kick!

27: It's a mistake from John Stones, a blind backpass to Bravo is misjudged, Redmond only too happy to nip in and round the 'keeper, slotting in the opener!

24: Almost a chance for City as some quick passing leaves the dangerous duo of De Bruyne and Aguero in a two-on-one situation. Unfortunately for them, the one is Van Dijk and again he's on hand to stop them.
19: Sane shows his skills with a lovely nutmeg of young Sam McQueen, however he's halted by a covering Steven Davis.
18: Tadic with a cross-cum-shot that is held well by Bravo, given that any spillages would have seen Redmond racing onto the ball. There's a slight penalty shout up at the other end as Aguero goes down under some pressure from Van Dijk, nothing doing there though.
15: Fernandinho with a lovely ball across the face of the defence towards Raheem Sterling, but the winger couldn't quite reach the ball in time.
10: First corner of the game goes to Southampton as Tadic gets the better of Kompany, and it's dealt with handily by the City backline.
4: Sergio Aguero on the run, twisting and turning in a bid to get away from the Saints defence, but Van Dijk is on hand to stop him in his tracks.

13:25. Just a few minutes until kick-off now, the two teams are out! Can Southampton spring a shock and beat City? We're about to find out!

12:30. Time for today's teams, starting with City: (3-4-3) Brano; Kompany, Stones, Kolarov; Sané, Fernandinho, Gündogan, Silva; De Bruyne, Aguero, Sterling.
One of those attacking stars is Sergio Aguero, who is currently caught up in some controversy regarding his City future. Having been benched against Everton, it was thought that the reasoning was so he'd be fully fit and firing against Barcelona in midweek, however then Guardiola didn't start him in Spain. In following days, reports emerged that perhaps the manager doesn't actually see Aguero as the long term answer to fit his playing style, and that offers may be considered for the Argentinian next summer. You'd expect him to start to say, but there'd likely be some uproar if he doesn't and City fail to win again.
Southampton's league form is much better. After a tricky start to the season, they're unbeaten in four league games, having conceded just one goal in that time. They'll need that fantastic defence to be on form today to keep out the Manchester City's attacking superstars.
City's league form recently has been something of a concern, and with Champions League games taken into account, they've gone four games without a win. Having won each of their first six league games, they lost at Tottenham Hotspur before the international break, and failed to bounce back at home to Everton last week, missing two penalties in a 1-1 draw.
Despite both having tasted defeated in midweek, they can come into the game very positive about their league position's. City have 19 points from their first eight games, and a win today would take them back to the top of the table. Southampton are sitting in eighth presently, but three points today could take them as high as sixth.
Southampton didn't fare nearly as badly, but still went down to a defefat as they went away to Italian giants Inter Milan in the Europa League. On top for much of the game, Southampton forced Inter 'keeper Samir Handanovic into a number of super saves throughout, however it was Antonio Candreva's second half goal that separated the teams.
Both teams will be looking to recover from European disappointment suffered earlier this week. City boss Pep Guardiola led his side back to his old stomping ground, Barcelona, on Wednesday in the Champions League. Despite going toe-to-toe with the Catalans for much of the 90 minutes, City's chances were virtually gone when, with the score at 1-0, Claudio Bravo was sent off for handling the ball outside of his area. Lionel Messi would go on to score more, bagging a hat-trick, whilst Neymar scored the other goal to secure a 4-0 win for the home side.
