On matchday ten of the Premier League, Walter Mazzarri's Watford will play host to struggling side, Hull City. The Hornets have had a reasonable start to life under Mazzarri, and welcoming a squandering Hull City side, Watford will be on the prowl for their fourth win of the season.

A bright start for the Hornets

Last time out, Watford fought a tough battle with Swansea, the game eventually ending in a goalless draw.

Mazzarri's men are unbeaten in their previous three English Premier League games, a win against Middlesborough being their last recorded win.

With a tough run of fixtures to open their season, it was unclear as to whether Watford would swim or sink with a new man at the helm of all things football.

Playing nine matches so far this season, the Hornets have had an equal taste of all match outcomes; winning three, drawing three and losing three.

There is a positive atmosphere around Vicarage Road in recent times, the compact ground often provides a hostile atmosphere. With this being said, can the visitors resist the temptation to crack under pressure?

Hull's Premier League struggles

Premier League newcomers, Hull City, have had a tough start to life back in the league. Since their promotion last season, the Tigers have suffered a variety of difficult scenarios, leaving their optimism of the season ahead damaged.

The departure of Steve Bruce, paired with injuries - causing an alarming lack of first team players - City have somehow managed to stay afloat so far. In their last game, Hull were defeated 2-0 at home by Stoke City. However, a midweek win against Bristol City has reinstated the winning feeling into the dressing room.

With seven points from nine games, their ratio is far from comfortable, however, Mike Phelan's side are not out of touch from safety, as fellow out-of-form clubs continue to keep them company towards the bottom of the table.

For Watford, young striker, Isaac Success will be missing due to a foot injury, while Okaka will also be sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Hamstrings aren't just hurting Watford, as Mbokani misses out for Hull with a pulled hamstring, Lenihan and McGregor are also out of contention.
