Bob Bradley wasted no time in addressing the current situation that his Swansea City side is under after another poor performance, this time against Stoke City.

Bradley made it clear to his squad they now face a 'huge' task in order to survive this season immediately after the final whistle in a bid to rescue their season before it becomes too late.

Team talk

Bradley told his players that there was "no point hiding from reality" as they sank further away from safety following another loss, this time to the Potters. The performance from the Welsh side was once again not up to scratch with plenty of costly mistakes and Bradley urged his side to come through the test of character and begin to start showing the ability that they possess.

His team talk was as honest as they come, admitting that the fact there has been a managerial change highlights that "things have not gone well" previously before acknowledging they have a "huge job" ahead of them.

Bradley knows that "there are no free points" in the Premier League and when looking at the fixture list it doesn't get much easier as they face Manchester United next who will be looking to pick up all three points. Bradley feels that you need to have "a combination of your football and your mentality" in order to "win games" and that is something he felt they were not "good enough" at against Stoke.

The new Swansea boss was frankly honest when claiming that Swansea's current situation is "concerning" to him but he believes as a coach it is his responsibility after a "bad stretch" to "challenge players" in the "right way" in order to regain their "confidence" which the team talk was an example of, but whether or not that had a positive impact will remain to be seen.
