Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has a selection headache ahead of Sunday's clash with Watford, as his squad are almost completely fit.

There's the obvious miss of Danny Ings, with the striker having unfortunately needed season-ending knee surgery this week, however other than Ings there are no long-term abesentees for the Reds.

Ojo and Gomez well on the mend, Milner to return

Youngsters Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez are still a little way off first team consideration, but have resumed first team training after injury and will be knocking on the door in weeks and months to come.

James Milner will hope to return after missing out on the win over Crystal Palace through illness, and although Alberto Moreno performed well in his place, you'd expect the Englishman to return to left-back.

Nathaniel Clyne, Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren will all feel fairly confident in keeping their places in defence, despite the latter being at fault for both goals against Palace. Loris Karius, too, is set to continue in goal.

Can or Wijnaldum?

Further into midfield, Jordan Henderson will keep his place in the holding role, whilst there seems to be a straight shootout between Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can for the position just ahead, with Adam Lallana's superb form meaning he'll keep his place at the top of the midfield three.

Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho will make up the front three, with Daniel Sturridge again likely to be kept on the bench despite going through a strong period fitness-wise.

Klopp did admit in his press-conference ahead of the game that Liverpool have been suffering a little from illness in recent weeks, explaining; “It’s how it always is in October, November and December. You have this little danger somebody gets ill.

“James was a little bit more than others. Emre [Can] was ill one day, Gini one day [Wijnaldum], but still three days to go before the game. In this moment, they’re all fit."
