Full-time round up

Spurs move to seventh and within two wins of fourth place. Next up for them is a trip to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United next Thursday.  West Ham have seven games to fight their way to safety and will be hoping for the return of key players Angelo Ogbonna and Sebastian Haller to bolster their squad.

Full Time: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 West Ham United

A comfortable victory in the end for Tottenham. A 300th Premier League victory for Jose Mourinho, Harry Kane back on the scoresheet and not far of the perfect night for Spurs.

David Moyes and West Ham have a lot of thinking to do before their game with Chelsea in nine days. Relegation now a real possibility. Bowen was the pick of their players but they will have to show more going forward if they want to stay up.

90+5' Kane inches away from a second. Aurier's cross just eludes the stretching leg of the Englishmen. A fine performance from Spurs' talisman.
22:072 months ago

90+1' Bergwjin looks to add another for Spurs but his shot is inches wide. A solid performance from the hosts. Lo Celso has been at the heart of everything they have done tonight.
22:042 months ago

88' West Ham's heads have dropped since Tottenham's second. Any points for Bournemouth tomorrow at Wolves would drop the Hammers into the bottom three. Worrying times in East London.
22:012 months ago

Tottenham substitution

85' Son is replaced by Harry Winks. A strong performance from the Korean. If not for VAR he would have had a lovely goal to go with it.  He will be crucial for Spurs in the top four race.

Goal: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 West Ham United

82' GAME OVER!!! Kane has his goal. He has worked hard for it tonight and the relief on his face is clear to see. The ball came to him on the halfway line and he sprinted clear of the remaining Hammers defenders and cooly slotted home.

Well deserved for Kane. His ninth in his last ten against West Ham. More misery for Moyes.

21:562 months ago

81' Into the final ten minutes. West Ham pushing more men forward in the hunt for what would be a massive equaliser.
21:542 months ago

Chance West Ham!

78' Massive chance. From the resulting free-kick the ball falls to West Ham's liveliest player Bowen, who shoots low to Lloris' right but the post comes to the Frenchmen's rescue. Was that the chance for West Ham?
21:522 months ago

77' Anderson looks to make an impact but wastes a half chance from about 25 yards out by firing comfortably wide. He has to do better from there. West Ham then attack down the right and Sissoko clumsily brings down Lanzini. Free-Kick to West Ham....
21:472 months ago

Tottenham substitution

70' Mourinho also uses the brief break in proceedings to freshen his side up. Lucas Moura is replaced by Friday's goalscorer Steven Bergwijn. Big last 20 minutes ahead.
21:462 months ago

West Ham substitution

70' Moyes uses the drinks break to make a double swap. Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini replace Mark Noble and Pablo Fornals respectively. Can the South Americans make a difference?
21:432 months ago

67' Nothing comes of the free-kick and West Ham are back to defending again. It is going to take a lot for David Moyes' side to find a way back now.
21:422 months ago

Yellow Card: Tottenham

66' Ben Davies is booked for a rash challenge and West Ham have a free-kick in a dangerous position and a chance to respond quickly.
21:412 months ago

GOAL: Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 West Ham United

64' Finally a goal for Tottenham and it comes in unlikely fashion. A corner from the right eludes every Spurs player but hits the back of Tomas Soucek and finds its way past Fabianksi.

Rotten luck for the Hammers but the hosts deserve to be ahead.

21:372 months ago

Chance Tottenham!

62' Lamela straight into the action as he finds himself with the ball in the box. He evades two West Ham defenders but can only find the side netting with his shot. Will Spurs come to rue all of these missed chances?
21:352 months ago

Tottenham substitution

59' Dele Alli is replaced by Erik Lamela after a promising first hour since the return for the Englishman. What impact will Lamela have?
21:342 months ago

21:312 months ago

55' Spurs look to take advantage of West Ham committing more men forward and counter quickly. Kane sees an opening and shoots just over. The England captain is looking sharper and sharper.
21:292 months ago

Chance West Ham!

54' First big chance for West Ham all night. Bowen again finds Fornals in the box with a great cross but as he did early on against Wolves the young Spaniard squanders it high and wide. That was a big big moment.

21:242 months ago

49' First chance of the half and it falls to the hosts and Eric Dier. A big gap opened up in the Hammers defence but Dier fired wide. Spurs picking up where they left off.
21:202 months ago

Second-half underway

45' Spurs get the second half underway. Massive 45 minutes ahead at both ends of the table.
21:172 months ago

Big second-half ahead

Spurs and Mourinho will take plenty of positives from the last 20 minutes.

Moyes on the other hand, will be hoping his side can repeat their second-half performance from a year ago.

21:132 months ago

Game of inches

VAR has come under a lot of scrutiny this year but this is exactly what it is here for.
21:062 months ago

Half-time: Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 West Ham United

Goalless at the break. West Ham started well with Cresswell looking potent down the left hand side but as the half went on the hosts slowly took over. Mourinho will be frustrated that his side couldn't capitalise in the final ten minutes of the half. All to play for in North London.
21:032 months ago

Disallowed Goal: Tottenham

45' Finally the pressure looks to have paid off. Lo Celso finds Son with a scrappy ball and the Korean cuts inside and fires low to Fabianski's right.

However, VAR comes to West Ham's rescue as Son's toe was offside.

20:592 months ago

43' Nothing comes from a series of consecutive corners for the hosts. They are lacking quality in the final third. West Ham defending in numbers and defending well so far.
20:572 months ago

41' More promising signs for Spurs. Moura latches onto an Alli pass and finds Ben Davies. His cross is cut out by Fredericks for a corner.

20:552 months ago

39' Bowen once again shows his pace as West Ham break quickly. He feeds the overlapping Fredericks who's cross is easily caught by Lloris in the Spurs goal.
20:522 months ago

37' Alli doing his defensive duties now. He cuts out a promising Aaron Cresswell corner with his head.
20:512 months ago

20:482 months ago

20:392 months ago

Chance Tottenham!

22' Spurs have their first good chance now. Moura catches a strike well from just outside the box but Lukas Fabianski parries it behind for a corner.

Once again a poor delivery from Lo Celso brings the attack to an end.

20:372 months ago

Chance West Ham!

20' Noble lumps a long ball into the box which is knocked down to Jarrod Bowen, who's strike on goal is well blocked by Eric Dier.
20:352 months ago

18' Spurs captain Kane's first act of the game is a miss hit cross. Which is comfortably dealt with by the Hammers defence.

He will be looking to get more involved after a poor performance against Manchester United.

15' Pablo Fornals is booked for a reckless late challenge on Aurier.
20:292 months ago

Lo Celso overhits the corner and West Ham clear their lines.

20:262 months ago

10' West Ham appear to be looking to play more direct tonight. Three long balls to Antonio in the opening ten minutes have kept Dier and Sanchez on their toes at the back.
20:222 months ago

6' A wayward header from Issa Diop leads to the first corner of the match.

Spurs take it short but nothing comes of the subsequent ball into the box.  Promising start for both sides going forward.

Noble stumbles on his way through on goal after receiving a pass from Antonio. His claims are waved away. Positive start for the Hammers.

Fond memories

Michail Antonio starts up top on his own again tonight for West Ham. In this fixture last year he became the first away player to score at this stadium in West Ham's 1-0 win. Can he follow it up tonight?

Huge night at both ends of the table

A win for Tottenham would see them leapfrog Sheffield United and move them to within six points of Chelsea in fourth.

West Ham need a win to provide some breathing space and momentum ahead of their final seven games which see them play fellow relegation rivals Norwich, Watford and Aston Villa on the final day.

Shake up for The Hammers

England International Declan Rice slots back into his preferred central midfield position alongside captain Mark Noble and loanee Tomas Soucek. Ryan Fredericks is back into the starting line-up for the first time since undergoing shoulder surgery in February and Fabian Balbuena partners Issa Diop at the back.

Embarrassment of riches for Mourinho

West Ham United Team News

Moyes confirmed on Monday that Robert Snodgrass and striker Sebastian Haller look set to both miss out again.

There is hope that Hammer of the season so far, centre back Angelo Ogbonna, will be fit enough to play some part after returning to training.

If Ogbonna misses out, expect England International Declan Rice to resume his role at back next to Issa Diop.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News

Spurs will be boosted by the return of both Deli Alli and Lucas Moura after suspension and injury respectively. Defenders Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth remain sidelined.

Hammers Looking to end woeful away run

West Ham boss David Moyes is still looking for his first  Premier League away win of his second spell at the club.  Since a 4-0 home win against fellow strugglers Bournemouth in Moyes' first game on New Year's Day, the East London club have managed just one win in eleven league games.

They can take some light from positive performances on their travels at champions elect Liverpool, and Arsenal before the break.

The squad will have fond memories of their 1-0 win in this fixture last season, where they became the first away side to win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Mourinho insists Kane can fit his system

After a lacklustre return from injury on Friday night for  Spurs talisman Harry Kane, manager Jose Mourinho jumped to his defence in his pre-match press conference on Monday. Kane was on the scoresheet as Spurs started the Mourinho era with a 3-2 win at the London Stadium in the reverse fixture last November. Kane has a strong record against the Hammers with eight goals in 11 appearances. The perfect game for him to get his mojo back?

Recent Form

Both sides come into the London derby searching for their first win since the restart.

Spurs returned to action with a frustrating 1-1 draw at home to top four chasing rivals Manchester United.

For David Moyes' Hammers side it was a disappointing  2-0 home defeat to Wolves meaning they are now only above the relegation zone on goal difference.
