Ona Batlle has been on a career high since being sent home in the first match of the 2018 U20 World Cup due to injury.

May 2019 saw Batlle receive her first senior debut with the Spanish national team during a friendly against Cameroon

Although missing out on the 23 woman squad for the 2019 World Cup, the 21-year old participated in her first international senior tournament for the 2020 SheBelievesCup, where she started against world champions Japan and USA.

Batlle spent six years with Barcelona FC's academy, but left at eighteen years old to pursue regular playing time in Primera Iberdrola with Madrid CFF and Levante UD

United finished fourth in their first season in the WSL and are only looking to grow.

The Red Devils are favourites to break Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea's rotation of Champions League spots.

This is United's second player announcement in the transfer window after Lucy Staniforth signed from Birmingham City
