Despite missing a handful of good chances early on, Brentford managed to grind out a win and make it 8 wins in a row for the side chasing automatic promotion. Whilst it is still out of their hands, they're in a great position as they enter their final two games.
Preston to feel hard done by
Despite starting slower than Brentford, Preston really grew into the game and gave it their all to try and get an equalizer. This will pretty much end Preston's dream of making it in the play-offs.

Shadon Baptiste is a doubt for the Bee's, meanwhile both Henrik Dalsgaard and Mathias Jensen are both pushing for starting spots after being declared fit - Both will give Thomas Frank plenty to think about ahead of this fixture.

Preston currently sit 9th in the Championship, a win could see them rise as high as 7th place, so victory today could well kick-start a late push for the play-off spots for the Lancashire club.

Since returning to action from lock-down, Brentford are unbeaten, winning all six of their games. Their most recent win came against Derby County at Pride Park, as Brentford managed an impressive 3-1 win which featured an absolute screamer from Said Benrahma.
