Jack Harrison has stated he will be staying with Leeds United for the Premier League 2020/21 season despite lack of confirmation from the Whites or parent club Manchester CityA clause in his contract would see Leeds pay the Citizens £8 million for his permanent signature. 

Making 91 appearances over the last two years at Elland Road, the 23-year old scored ten times last season and was one of many key players on Leeds' title-winning team. His attacking contributions were one of many catalysts that won them promotion back to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years.

Speaking to ESPN + as part of their coverage of the EFL Championship play-off final, Harrison said "everyone is excited going into next year. We start again in two weeks. We don't know the fixtures yet, it won't really sink in. I'll be there again next season so I'm excited to go back and do it all again."

Harrison praised manager Marcelo Bielsa, stating "under the leadership of Marcelo, I think we're more than capable of staying up."

He also pointed to the season Sheffield United had as the Blades finished ninth in their return to the top flight. "You look at Sheffield Unitedthey're an organized team and their tactics are detailed", he said. "We're hoping we can do the same, if not better."
