Goodbye!
Right, that's all from me.
Thanks for joining me tonight - the game was a great spectacle and Liverpool showed their brilliant strength in depth.
I have been Lewis Browning, and I'll see you soon, probably. I'm off for a lie down - see you later!
Well, we have been treated to a great game this evening.
Goals from Xherdan Shaqiri, Marko Grujic, Divock Origi and a pair of braces from Takumi Minamino and Curtis Jones ensure Jurgen Klopp’s men will face Arsenal in the next round.
Adetayo Edun and Lewis Montsma were on target for Lincoln, who can be relatively happy with their second half showing. They just came up against a much, much better team tonight.
FULL TIME: Lincoln 2-7 Liverpool
The full-time whistle is blown and Liverpool’s win and progress to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup is confirmed thanks to a 7-2 win here.
90 +3': Lincoln earn a late corner as Fabinho blocks Edun's cross.
Lincoln play it short, and Adrian saves Bradley's shot.
90 +1': Three minutes of stoppage time will be played.
GOAL! Lincoln 2-7 Liverpool (Origi)
89': Classic Liverpool.
Minamino breaks and has Jota to his left and Origi to his right. He goes for the latter, and Origi shoots first time and fires past Palmer who, again, probably should do better.
88': Scully's cross is headed away by Neco Williams before McGrandles' shot is blocked for a corner.
Unfortunately for Lincoln, Grant's cross is too deep and goes straight out for a goal kick.
85': Neco Williams is fouled by Archibald on the right and Liverpool have the chance to get the ball in the box again.
Tsimikas crosses, but Lincoln clear.
79': Hopper heads just wide but Hopper is offside.
I suppose that's Liverpool's high line doing its job, but it is awfully risky.
78': A little look behind the curtain, I'm a Gillingham fan and the second-to-last game I attended in person was away to Lincoln last season on February 22. It was 0-0.
I miss live football. It's been ages.
Scully wins a free kick after a foul from Tsimikas.
76': Jota comes very close to a debut goal, dragging an effort from distance just wide.
That would've been nice.
Liverpool substitution
75': Shaqiri has been struggling in the last few minutes and he's now made way for Naby Keita.
He might be in pain now, but he won't forget this free kick from earlier in a hurry.

73': Has anyone got any advice for dodgy achilles? My left foot has been killing for weeks. Let me know at @L41Browning on Twitter.
Naby Keita is getting ready to come on for Liverpool.
Yellow card!
70': Minamino is tripped right on the edge of the area by Eyoma, who is booked.
Fabinho, Shaqiri and Tsimikas are over the ball, and it's the Brazillian who takes, but it's just wide.
GOAL! Lincoln 2-6 Liverpool (Montsma)
67': Calm down lads. I can only type so fast.
Adrian comes to claim a corner but gets nowhere near it. Montsma gets up above Fabinho, and his header bounces off the bar, onto the line, and I think it's in before Hopper makes sure.
Theo Archibald has replaced Harry Anderson, too.
Embed from Getty ImagesGOAL! Lincoln 1-6 Liverpool (Grujic)
66': That's tame. Grujic receives the ball on the edge of the box, sets himself, and it's low and curling away from Palmer.
There could be a deflection, but Palmer should be saving it.
Grujic hasn't played for Liverpool since 2017, and that's his first goal for the club.
Embed from Getty ImagesGOAL! Lincoln 1-5 Liverpool (Edun)
62': Lincoln really deserve that.
Neco Williams is dispossessed and Lincoln break. Scully squares it to Adetayo Edun, who strokes the ball past Adrian for a consolation goal.
A bit sloppy from Liverpool.
Lincoln substitutions
60': Tom Hopper, who scored Lincoln's winner against MK Dons on Saturday, and Conor McGrandles replace James Jones and Liam Bridcutt.
60': Lincoln get a free kick as Fabinho trips Edun.
Eyoma gets ahead of the defensive line, again very high, but the effort is all over the place.
Liverpool substitution
58': Elliott is pulled back by Bradley in the box but there's nothing going for that.
Well, Diogo Jota is going to get a runout.
He's on for Elliott and makes to make his Liverpool debut. Just what Lincoln wanted I'm sure.
54': Liverpool's line is so high. A cross is flicked into the path of Scully, and Adrian has to block.
Liverpool perhaps missing van Dijk at the start of this half? Origi is then played through but the ball bounces off the back of his heel.
53': Lincoln are enjoying a bit of the ball here and Grant gets some space down the left. He decides to shoot rather than cross, though, and Adrian catches easily.
51': Right, strap in.
Adrian sprints out his goal and to be honest Lincoln should have one. Jones and Grant are involved before Edun's effort is blocked from just yards out.
A fierce shot from Origi is then palmed out by Palmer, and Minamino's follow up effort is blocked.
4': It would take someone very brave to bet against Liverpool scoring at least one more here.
A race for a hattrick between Jones and Minamino perhaps?
Lincoln win a throw on the left.
GOAL! Lincoln 0-5 Liverpool (Minamino)
46': Blimey, I'd barely sat back down! Four players surround the ball to win it back for Liverpool in the Lincoln half and Elliott finds himself in. Palmer saves his shot, but Minamino is on hand to sidefoot home the rebound.
I make that 18 seconds.
Second half underway
46': Right, Lincoln get us back underway. This game is done result wise but we'll see what the next 45 minutes bring.
Fabinho has replaced Virgil van Dijk for Liverpool at the break.
Liverpool were absolutely dominant in that first half. Four cracking strikes, and Alex Palmer will be wondering what he's done to deserve this in the Lincoln goal. Not a thing he could have done about any of the goals.
Half time: Lincoln 0-4 Liverpool
45 +2': Tony Harrington blows the whistle for half time and Lincoln was be buzzing to hear it.
They trail Liverpool by four goals to nil. The Reds lead thanks to Shaqiri, Minamino and a Curtis Jones brace.
It's a matter of how many at this point. See you in 15.
45 +1': We will play one additional minute at the end of the first half.
Adrian has to palm Edun's cross out for a corner, which the Spaniard claims.
45' Tsimikas' corner falls to Origi but he's leaning back and his effort is well over. Scully then shoots over from about 45 yards out with Adrian off his line. The idea was there.
What's everyone got to drink at half time? I reckon Jurgen Klopp will have a warm hot chocolate ready to go.
43': Jurgen Klopp is sat arms folded on the bench. There's not a lot he can say right now.
Lincoln are getting a bit of a breather as the Liverpool pressure cools. We're not far from half time now.
40': Bridcutt curls a free kick towards James Jones and earns his side a corner.
Eyoma then crosses, but Jones chests past the near post.
GOAL! Lincoln 0-4 Liverpool (Jones)
37': This isn't fair on Lincoln, but Liverpool are putting on a real show here.
Curtis Jones picks up the ball around 30 yards out, dribbles past a couple of players, and, via a deflection off Eyoma, curls Liverpool's fourth past Palmer.

36': Who are 'they', by the way? I've always wondered.
Anyway, another corner is earned but that's cleared,
35': Elliott fires in a snapshot which Palmer has to turn round his post for a corner.
This could turn into, as they say, a cricket score.
GOAL! Lincoln 0-3 Liverpool (Jones)
33': Another brilliant goal!
Rhys Williams, on debut, pings a brilliant diagonal to Divock Origi. The Belgian heads it down to Jones, who is allowed time to get the ball out his feet in the box and curl wonderfully past Palmer for Liverpool's third.
Superb from Curtis 👌#LFC | #CarabaoCuppic.twitter.com/WFKAPRCdDP
— Liverpool FC (@LFC) September 24, 2020
31': Curtis Jones lines one up from distance and Bridcutt deflects the shot over.
Shaqiri's corner is cleared away.
29': Oh, that's a good chance.
Really nice play from Lincoln and Melbourne crosses low looking for Grant.
The corner is worked in, and Eyoma heads just over. The hosts' best chance so far.
27': Lincoln win a corner. One feels a set piece is probably their best change of testing Adrian tonight.
Oh, what a waste. There's a quick one-two but the flag goes up straight away. One of them.
24': Neco Williams crosses instead. Montsma heads away, and Minamino's shot is blocked for a corner, which is eventually cleared.
23': Curtis Jones is fouled again, this time by Bridcutt, in a similar position to late time.
Shaqiri for round two?
21': Lincoln's first chance. The Imps take a quick free kick and Liverpool are sleeping - James Jones crosses and Adrian has to divert the ball out for a corner.
GOAL! Lincoln 0-2 Liverpool (Minamino)
19': Ah.
I mentioned Liverpool's pressing, and it's paid off here. Montsma wants to play out from the back, but Harvey Elliott cuts the defender's pass out.
Montsma tries to recover, but can only guide the ball to Takumi Minamino, who curls a worldie into the top right-hand corner to make it 2-0.
Game over already?
18': Great play from Liverpool. Tskimikas, Grujic and Shaqiri are all involved, and Tskimikas's cross fall for Jones, but he fires wide.
16': Harvey Elliott tries to flick a ball through but there's a miscommunication and Palmer gathers.
The game is a bit flat right now, I can't lie. What the Lincoln players would do to have a crowd in for this one.
13': That was really, really nice from Shaqiri. It's easy to forget how good a player he is with his lack of first team action lately.
Liverpool are still dominating possession, and pressing very high when they lose the ball.
GOAL! Lincoln 0-1 Liverpool (Shaqiri)
9': Or Xherdan Shaqiri...
The Swiss international lines up the ball and curls an absolute beauty into the near corner.
Absolutely no chance for Palmer, and the champions of England lead.
Embed from Getty Images8': Curtis Jones turns Montsma and the Imps defender brings down his man about 20 yards from goal.
Jones might fancy this.
6': Curtis Jones has the first shot at goal but a deflection takes the power off the effort and the ball trickles through to Alex Palmer in the Lincoln goal.
A quiet start to this one.
3': Liverpool, as expected, are dominating the ball in the early stages.
Lincoln gave Everton a good game at the LNER Stadium in the same competition last season, going 1-0 up within 20 seconds before eventually losing 4-2 in the second round.
Liverpool will be hoping to avoid any scares tonight.
Kick-off!
1': After the players take a knee, Liverpool get us underway.
Here come the teams
Here come the players.
The crowd is a bit quiet tonight. Maybe they'll pick up once the action gets underway...
10 minutes until kick off
The warms ups are complete and the players will be making their ways onto the pitch very soon.
Midfield key
Former Scotland international Liam Bridcutt has been Lincoln's standout signing of the summer, joining the club on a permanent basis after spending last season on loan at the LNER Stadium.
Liverpool are expected to dominate the ball, but Bridcutt, who captains the side in addition to holding a coaching role at the club, will play a vital role in Lincoln’s battle to win possession in midfield against the Premier League champions.
Two debuts for Reds
There are two debutants in Liverpool's lineup. 19-year-old Rhys Williams will start alongside Virgil van Dijk at the heart of Liverpool's defence, whilst summer signing Kostas Tsimikas will make his first competitive appearance from left back. Diogo Jota is on the bench.
Liverpool swap 10
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made plenty of changes to his Reds team that dispatched Chelsea on Sunday. 10, in fact - Virgil van Dijk the only survivor.
Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Andy Robertson, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all drop out, with Adrian, Neco Williams, Rhys Williams, Kostas Tsimikas, Curtis Jones, Marko Grujic, Harvey Elliott, Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi replacing them.
With me?
Lincoln change four
So Lincoln manager Michael Appleton makes four changes to the Imps side that beat MK Dons 2-1 in League One on Saturday.
Alex Bradley, Max Melbourne, Adetayo Edun and Anthony Scully come into the starting lineup, with Adam Jackson, Sean Roughan, Conor McGrandles and Tom Hopper dropping to the bench.

Liverpool in it to win it
Liverpool assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders told the press earlier on in the week that players with "hunger and desire" would start for the Reds.
He said: “One of our main things over the last two years or longer is that we see each next game as the next final. So the way we prepare Lincoln will be in the same way how we prepared for Chelsea over the weekend.
“We are fully prepared. We know they had a great run so far, top of the league. A counter-attacking side with speed on the wings, with technical players on the inside. Good set-pieces, I think they scored five goals already with that. When they play football, they properly play football, with good switches between players and good flexibility.
"We want to win this competition, that's for sure."
Appleton ready
Following his side’s 2-1 victory over MK Dons on Saturday, Lincoln manager Appleton stressed that the Imps would be well-prepared for the visit of the Premier League champions.
He said: "We will regroup and make sure the lads have the balance right between now and Liverpool
“It is a great game for the football club, especially with the game being on Sky.
"We have a reasonable idea about how they play and how they setup, they are really good at it so we will work hard throughout the game. We will need to be clinical when and if we get opportunities."

Lincoln: predicted lineup
Possible 4-3-3: Palmer - Eyoma, Montsma, Jackson, Melbourne - Bridcutt, McGrandles, Jones - Anderson, Hopper, Grant.
Liverpool: team news
Wholesale changes to the Liverpool side that beat Chelsea at the weekend are expected.
Thiago Alcantara could make his first start for the Reds, as Klopp seeks to build the Spaniard up to match fitness. Diogo Jota could also be handed his full Liverpool debut after arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers last week.
Jordan Henderson is an injury doubt for Thursday’s contest, with Klopp expected to exclude his captain from consideration ahead of Liverpool’s match against Arsenal on Monday evening. Joel Matip and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remain on the injury list, while the U21’s fixture on Tuesday evening could limit the number of youngsters included in Liverpool's matchday squad.
As a result, a number of fringe players are expected to be in the line-up, with the likes of Curtis Jones, James Milner, Divock Origi expected to feature against the Imps. Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas could also be handed his first appearance in English football.
Lincoln: team news
The hosts are expected to name a similar starting eleven to the side that beat MK Dons on Saturday. Liam Bridcutt featured after recovering from a hamstring injury, and is likely to captain his side against Liverpool.
With Tom Hopper and Callum Morton both scoring on their most recent starts, Appleton must decide which forward will lead the line. Anthony Scully – who scored in the Imps’ win over Bradford in the previous round – will be hoping to return to the line-up.
Liverpool begin campaign
So Liverpool will get their tournament underway here - Premier League clubs involved in European competition essentially get a bye to the third round - and there has been much speculation about the sort of players we will see on show.
Will we see new boys Thiago and Jota? Some exciting young talent? Jurgen Klopp is certain to rotate, but time will only tell what sort of team we see.
Lincoln red hot
Lincoln may be the underdogs for this one, but Michael Appleton's men are in fine form going into the game.
They have won both of their league fixtures so far, and reached the third round after victories against Crewe Alexandra and Bradford City, the latter they demolished 5-0 last week.
They aren't to be taken lightly here.
Liverpool's tournament begins
Champions of England Liverpool will get their 2020/21 Carabao Cup campaign underway today. Their opponents, high-flying League One outfit Lincoln City.
Liverpool's journey to win the trophy they last claimed in 2012 starts here.
Kick-off time
Lincoln City vs Liverpool will be played at the LNER Stadium, in Lincoln, England. The kick-off is scheduled at 19:45 BST.
