Huddersfield Town face Nottingham Forest at the John Smith's Stadium as both teams look to get off the mark in the EFL Championship. Neither the Terriers or Forest has scored yet this season while both clubs have given up four goals in their opening two league matches.

Team news

Huddersfield will be delighted to welcome back left-back Harry Toffolo, who was pronounced fit after being forced off in last weekend's game against Brentford and is in contention to feature. Captain Christopher Schindler was also withdrawn and is unlikely to participate after suffering a hamstring injury.

Manager Carlos Corberan stated that Carel Eitling, signed from Ajax, is likely to play while the Terriers' other new signing Naby Sarr is unlikely to be included after being in self-isolation.

Forest will be without Fouad Bachirou, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Tiago Silva will also miss out while Cyrus Christie, Scott McKenna and Harry Arter are all in contention to make their Forest debuts after joining the club in the last week. Tyler Blackett is expected back after missing the game against Cardiff.

Predicted line-ups

Huddersfield Town (4-2-3-1) Hamer; Pipa, Stearman, Schindler, Brown; Hogg, Bacuna; Diakhaby, Pritchard; Mbenza; Campbell

Nottingham Forest (4-3-1-2) Samba; Ribeiro, Figueiredo, Worrall, Jenkinson; Yates, Colback, Freeman; Ameobi; Taylor, Grabban

Ones to watch

Ryan Yates and Jack Colback have played every minute of Forest's first two games in midfield. Despite not scoring yet this year, Lewis Grabban remains a threat and he was at the double when these two teams last met in a 3-1 Forest victory.

Form guide

Neither team has scored yet as Huddersfield have suffered defeats to Norwich City and Brentford 1-0 and 3-0 respectively while Forest have lost their opening two league encounters 2-0 to Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City.

Previous meetings

The home side has won each of the last four matches with Forest running out 3-1 winners last June. Grabban scored twice in a three-minute span, two minutes before halftime and a minute after the restart. Yates added a third in the 85th minute before Karlan Grant pulled one back for the Terriers deep into stoppage time.
