Hodgson has also confirmed that Mateta will not take part in tomorrow's game against West Ham. 

 

Roy Hodgson has arrived to questions from the media ahead of Tuesday's game against West Ham. 

Roy Hodgson's press conference is set to take place at 13:15. He is set to face questions about new signing, Jean-Philippe Mateta, possible deals in the last week of the January window and a look ahead to Tuesday's game against West Ham United. 

Hodgson will also preview Tuesday’s West Ham game, as the Eagles look to pick up confidence ahead of an intense run of fixtures.  

Hodgson is likely to be asked about transfers with the January window approaching its final week, with Demarai Gray someone who has been linked to a move to Selhurst Park recently.  

The Palace boss will also have to address speculation about Christian Benteke’s future, as the misfiring Palace front man is set to leave the club in the coming days or months.  

Roy Hodgson will likely be asked about new signing, Jean-Philippe Mateta, who joined on an 18-month loan from Mainz last week.  

The Eagles have had a 12-day break following their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City, and are looking to break into the top-10 of the Premier League table this week. 

Crystal Palace welcome David Moyes’ high-flying West Ham United, who are currently unbeaten in 2021, to Selhurst Park.
