Jose on Ndombele's progression
"It was him, his responsibility. We always showed him the right way and demanded a lot from him, if I did anything positive with him it was to not play him when he was not in a real condition to play.
His physical condition was not very good as an example. He trains very hard, he understands what we want and he is feeling very positive."
Jose on coping with Liverpool's attacking threat
"You are right, they have top class attacking players and they create chances in every game if they are scoring or not scoring, but of course we are a team that are normally well organised. "The most important thing is the talent and the mentality. Some clubs have the potential to resolve their defensive problems with money. Other clubs it’s not that easy, and they have to go in different directions.
Joe Rodon has a lot of potential and desire and in the couple of times we have played him the answer was positive."
Jose on Jurgen Klopp
"I'm not a friend of Jurgen, because I've never had time with Jurgen. Nuno, he was my player and Brendan worked in my club for a couple years together.
So when you have something in common and you know the person well, you can say I like him as a friend. But with Jurgen it's five minutes before a match or five minutes after a match, but he is a colleague I respect."
Jose wishes Brendan Rodgers a happy birthday
"I done have Brendan's (Rodgers) phone number, like I have Nuno's number, so yesterday I could send my happy birthday to Nuno (Espirito Santo) but not to Brendan, so through you, happy birthday to Brendan! We all have the same birthday."
Jose on injury troubles
"Dele Alli is injured for tomorrow."
Jose also suggested another unnamed player who was not in the starting XI against Wycombe and rested for Liverpool has picked up an injury ahead of tomorrow's game.
Jose on new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel
The question on many people's lips now is how will Thomas Tuchel adapt to the Premier League after his spell at PSG, but Jose believes it is a difficult task to adapt to football in the English top flight.
"You cannot compare the job with PSG than one in the Premier League, it is impossible to compare."
Jose on transfer rumours
Despite speculation surrounding the likes of Dele Alli, Mourinho was insistent he does not think anyone will leave or arrive by the end of the January Transfer Window:
"I was not expecting anyone to leave, I was not expecting anyone to come, but it is open and sometimes unexpected things can happen, but I don't believe it will happen"

Spurs defeated Wycombe Wanderers 1-4 in the FA Cup Fourth Round on Monday thanks to a late show from Harry Winks and Tanguy Ndombele, with the Frenchman scoring twice in the final ten minutes.
Harry Winks' equaliser came in the 86th minute - while Gareth Bale cancelled out Fred Onyedinma's opener in the first half.
