On the Europa League squad

Mourinho confirms that Joe Rodon has not be selected for Spurs' Europa League squad.

"We didn't. We didn't. It was a hard decision but we wanted to show respect to the group."

He also confirmed that, although Japhet Tanganga had good opportunities to go out on loan, he thought it would be best for him to stay.

On the creativity in the team

"It's not about creativity, it's about dynamics. You lose that when one player is missing.

"Dele is an attacking, creative player, the same as Tanguy and Giovani Lo Celso."

"The evolution of Tanguy has brought him to a place where he is very complete."

On Dele Alli

The 24-year-old was touted for a move to Paris Saint Germain to play under his old boss, Mauricio Pochettino

However, Spurs were unwilling to sanction Alli's departure without signing a replacement.

Alli has been cast to the sidelines by Mourinho, however, with the injury to Kane, it could be possible that Alli will have a chance to showcase his talent once again.

On Gareth Bale

It has not been a happy return for the Welshman, since he joined on a season long-loan from Real Madrid.

He made his first Premier League start against Brighton and was hauled off after 60 minutes.

Mourinho has been very clear that Bale has suffered injuries and other external factors during his time in North London.

However, should Spurs extend the deal, Bale will need to start showing glimpses of talent that he possesses.

On Thomas Tuchel

Jose Mourinho will likely to be asked on the new Chelsea boss.

Tuchel has achieved two clean sheets and one convincing win in his short time in charge, with his change in formation appearing to have found a formula for that Chelsea squad.

Mourinho will be asked on his thoughts on Tuchel, the formation and the key players in the Blues’ squad.

Harry Kane

Mourinho will also provide an update on Harry Kane, who is removing from an injury he picked up against Liverpool.

It is thought that Kane will make a return against Manchester City in less than two weeks, it is possible that the England captain will make a return ahead of schedule.
