FULL TIME: Everton 5-4 Spurs (AET)

What a thrilling match!

Everton are into FA Cup quarter-finals, and rightly so. When Spurs grabbed the 4th goal and equalised, it looked like their game to lose.

However, Everton found another gear in extra time and punished Spurs for their mistakes.

Spurs were electric going forward, the best I have seen from them this season, but defensive errors continue to cost Mourinho's team.

Spurs were in complete control after Sanchez opened the scoring in the 4th minute, creating a handful of chances but failed to convert.

Everton struggled to make any impact on the game until 35th minute, but three goals in seven minutes stunned Spurs.

Early team news

Harry Kane returned to starting eleven on Sunday to face West Brom and is likely to be involved in today’s game. Jose Mourinho revealed that Dele Alli could be back on the bench at Goodison Park after failing to secure a temporary move away from the club in January.

Giovanni Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon remain unavailable.

Everton are without goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and defensive midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin. Robin Olsen is set to remain in between the sticks for The Toffees despite a mixed performance at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Who doesn’t love a FA Cup match day, right?

Everton enters today's game on the back of an impressive result at Old Trafford as Dominic Calvert-Lewin rescued a point for The Toffees in the 93rd minute. Carlo Ancelotti’s men have a decent chance of winning their first FA Cup since 1995, although the main focus for the rest of the season would be securing a place in Europe, whether that be Europa League, or potentially Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur ended their dreaded run of form on Sunday, beating West Brom two-nil, and welcomed the return of Harry Kane. The FA Cup is another perfect opportunity for Spurs to end their 12-year trophy drought, despite being in the Carabao Cup final in April, with Jose Mourinho likely to take this tie seriously.
