Wish him all the best.
19:422 years ago
81' Lingard was very close to scoring after a good play between himself, Noble and Soucek but John Egan's late block was enough to stop him as the Irish defender injured himself in the process.

Straight after Lingard's been replaced by Said Benrahma.

52' What a phenomenal save from Fabiański!

Good build-up from the visitors found his way to McGoldrick, the striker's header deflected off one of West Ham's defenders on its way but the Polish goalkeeper managed to keep it out with a one-handed save!

It remains 1-0, for now at least.

HALF-TIME: West Ham United 1-0 Sheffield United

West Ham lead at the break thanks to Declan Rice's penalty - their first of the season mind.

Sheffield Utd are trying their best but just can't break down the hosts' defensive structure and leave themselves open at the back instead.

Jesse Lingard has been running the show so far. Magnificent player.

GOAL: West Ham United 1-0 Sheffield United

What a penalty from West Ham's captain.

Looked as composed as Mark Noble usually does when taking penalties.

West Ham are currently FOURTH in the Premier League.

Hammers being too wasteful, yet again.
18:262 years ago
25' Good opening ball from Lanzini towards Lingard, but the ex-England international's effort from a tough angle was saved.

From the following corner-kick, a cross was headed by Craig Dawson but went over the bar.

Player to watch

After his fabulous debut against Aston Villa, in which he's scored two goals, Jesse Lingard might find himself in a different role.

Due to Michail Antonio's fitness issues and Andriy Yarmolenko's injury, there's a possibility that David Moyes might be forced to start the loanee as a central striker.

While it is currently unknown whether or not that will necessarily happen, he's bound to start either way.

Previous encounters

Head-to-head record looks equal with a slight advantage towards the visitors as in the last six meetings, the Blades came out as winners three times, West Ham twice and there was one draw.

In the latest game between the two teams, the Hammers came out on top thanks to a single goal from Sebastien Haller.

Current form

The hosts are coming into the game off a goalless draw against Fulham FC, but a win against their today's rivals will push them into the TOP 4.

The visitors are currently bottom in the league table having most recently lost, 1-2, to Chelsea FC.
