La Real are without two defenders for the second leg as Robin Le Normand is banned following a string of bookings, while Joseba Zaluda suffered a hamstring injury last time out against United.

Zaluda is likely to be replaced at right back by Andoni Gorosabel, while 21-year-old Modibo Sagnan will probably take Normand’s place.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said it will be "more or less the same squad as against Newcastle", which his side won 3-1.

"Amad and Shola will be involved, they're in the squad," Solskjaer added.

Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay are out.

United ran out comprehensive winners in the reverse fixture last week.
