Norwich City host Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday and will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table.

The visitors come into this game on the back of a goalless draw at home to Bristol City in midweek.

The Canaries come into this game on the back of an excellent run of form, after nine wins in their last ten games, with their most recent a 2-0 win away at Nottingham Forest.

  • Team news

Daniel Farke will be without Adam Idah on Saturday as he is due to have an operation on his hernia. He will also be without long term absentees Michael McGovern and Sam Byram.

Rovers boss Tony Mowbray will be without Bradley Dack and Lewis Travis as they haven't featured since their injury problems.

  • Predicted lineups

Norwich City (4-2-3-1)

Krul, Aarons, Hanley, Gibson, Giannoulis, Skipp, McLeans, Dowell, Rupp, Cantwell, Pukki.

Blackburn Rovers (4-3-3)

Kaminski, Rankin-Costello, Lenihan, Harwood-Bellis Douglas, Holtby, Johnson, Rothwell, Elliott, Armstrong, Brereton.

  • Ones to watch

Adam Armstrong

Blackburn Rovers attacker Adam Armstrong has been in the form of his life for Rovers, he has scored nineteen goals and contributed with three assists this season and Norwich's defence will have to be on top form to stop him.

Teemu Pukki

Norwich City striker Teemu Pukku has been in fine form this season for the Canaries, he has scored 22 goals and contributed with two assists, and his clever movement and eye for goal means any defence needs to be at their best against him.

  • Previous meetings

The last time the two sides met, it was Norwich who triumphed, winning 2-1 at Ewood Park.

Blackburn haven't beaten Norwich in seven attempts, which includes six defeats stretching back to 2012, when they won 2-0 at Ewood Park.

  • How to watch

Due to the current national lockdown, there will be no fans in attendance when the two sides meet at Carrow Road on Saturday. This means the game will be available on iFollow through Norwich and Blackburn's respective websites with passes priced at £10.

The game kicks off at 15:00 GMT on Saturday 20 March 2021.
