  • Ones to watch

Simeon Akinola

Simeon Akinola signed for Southend United in the summer on a free transfer. His hard work off the ball and clever movement make him a threat to any defence. He has contributed with two goals and one assist in nineteen appearances in League two this season.

Emmanuel Osadebe

Walsall have struggled in the final third this season. However, their one bright spark has been Osadebe; his work rate and ability to drive with the ball makes him always one to look out for.

  • Previous meetings

The last time the two sides met, it was Southend who triumphed, winning 1-0 back in November. In the last five meetings between the sides, it has been Southend who have edged it. They have won three and drawn one, while Walsall won the other.

  • How to watch
