Signing Off
A good result for Villa, securing a much needed win. Fulham's next game is going to be huge for the rest of their season if they want to stay in the Premier League.
Full Time Thoughts
A positive result for Aston Villa but the performance, for the most part, left much to be desired with Fulham dominating most of both halves.
Scott Parker will be wondering how his side let the game get away from them, with 15 minutes left looking in control, to being 3-1 down ten minutes later.
Much for both managers to ponder on in the coming days before their next games. Villa face Liverpool at Anfield and Fulham host Wolves.
FULL TIME: Aston Villa 3-1 Fulham
Goals:
Aston Villa: Trezeguet (78', 81'), Watkins (87')
Fulham: Mitrovic (61')
90+4 Free Kick for Villa
This will most likely be the last kick of the game from Martinez as Villa see out the game
90+2' Chance for Onomah
A gap opens for Onomah who strikes the ball true, but straight at Martinez who keeps hold of the ball to kill some time
4 Minutes added time
The referee has added on a minimum of four minutes at the end of the game
90' Villa looking dominant now
This is the performance that every Villa fan will want to see, they just hope they can see it for longer than 15 minutes next time out
87' ANOTHER ONE FOR VILLA!
Good play from Traore who beats his man and squares the ball and finds Watkins who taps in to make it 3-1 to Villa. Harsh on Fulham who have crumbled in the last ten minutes
83' Double substitution for Fulham
Josh Maja and Josh Onomah are on for Loftus-Cheek and Lemina
81' GOAL FOR VILLA AGAIN!!
Tosin's mistake see's Davis get in down the right, he picks out Trezeguet at the back post who finishes well for his second of the afternoon. Villa lead 2-1
80' Sweet strike by Trezeguet
A cross falls to Trezeguet at the back post and he smashes the ball on the half volley narrowly wide. The home side looking like getting another goal now
78' GOAL FOR VILLA!!
Villain becomes a hero. Mings picks up the ball and drives towards the byline, his cross finds Trezeguet who slides the ball into the bottom corner
76' Trezeguet wastes a good chance
A cross from the right bypasses Watkins and finds its way to Trezeguet who's header is very poor and goes well wide of the Fulham goal

Reed looks to curl one into the top corner from range but its another effort that goes over the bar
68' Substitution for Villa
In an attacking change, Keinan Davis is on, replacing Sanson
67' Another wasted chance
A cross in reaches Watkins, who misses it, then McGinn who also misses it. Sums up the afternoon so far for Dean Smith's side
62' Substitution for Villa
Trezeguet is on for El Ghazi as Villa look to get back into the game
61' GOAL FOR FULHAM!
Mings with a horrendous moment. He attempts a pass pack to Martinez but he scuffs it and Mitrovic goes through, past Martinez to roll the ball into an empty net
60' Lack of quality at the moment
Lots of passing but little to no chances in the last five minutes. Neither side can seem to effectively break down the opposition at the moment
55' Shot narrowly wide by Mitrovic
Mitrovic picks up the ball on the left hand side of the box and looks to bend one. His effort is narrowly wide, but he is flagged offside
53' Effort from range by Reid

Kick Off
Aston Villa get the second half underway
2nd half just moments away
The teams are making their way to the pitch and the second half will kick off in the coming minutes
Half Time Thoughts
Fulham have looked far the better so far. Villa have looked disjointed and poor, especially from set pieces. Despite this they are unlucky not to get a penalty after the referee originally gave the penalty. Scott Parker will be frustrated that his side hasn't taken the lead and Dean Smith will feel similarly as to how his side haven't got a penalty right at the end of the half.
Half Time
After an eventful last few minutes, the referee blows for half time
45+5' NO PENALTY
The referee looks at the monitor and decides that Lemina does touch the ball and therefore doesn't give a penalty.
45+4' Andy Madley taking a look at the monitor
The referee is taking a look at the foul to give his own take on the foul
45+3' Penalty to Villa
Lemina dives in on Watkins. Clear penalty for me but VAR are taking a look at it.
2 minutes added time
A minimum of two minutes has been added on by the referee at the end of the first half
43' Good break from Watkins and Traore
Watkins gets a foot on the ball and feeds traore on the break, scrappy play eventually leads to a dangerous free kick for Douglas Luiz to take
40' Yet another poor set piece from Villa
Targett whips in the cross, which is too high making it easy for Areola who clears it and Lookman who can break
36' Chance for Fulham
Lookman fizzes in a wicked delivery from a free kick, Martinez attempts to punch it but misses the ball and clears out Konsa. Andersen couldn't quite reach the ball at the back post. Fulham getting closer to opening the scoring
32' Good cross, good save
Targett whips a ball across the Fulham box looking for Traore. Areola cuts it out with a diving save.
30' Mitrovic wins yet another foul
Konsa this time takes down the striker, Mitrovic wants Andy Madley to show a yellow card but the referee isn't budging on his decision
25' Header wide from Douglas Luiz
Short corner changes the angle and Luiz gets his head onto the cross. He gets a good connection but his header is wide. Better from the hosts

16' Yellow Card for Andersen
McGinn breaks forward after a poor free kick from Fulham but is taken down by the Fulham captain, who is shown a yellow card
15' Yellow Card for Luiz
Poor pass from El Ghazi is given straight to Loftus-Cheek who drives forward. Luiz takes him down and gets a yellow card
14' More Fulham domination
Fulham look far more dangerous at the minute, every time they break forward they look like they could score. Still 0-0
10' Shot by McGinn
McGinn drives forward and takes aim but his shot is blazed over. Better from the home side.
8' Another good save by Martinez
Mitrovic gets a bending shot off from the edge of the box, palmed away well for a corner by Martinez
7' Two chances for Fulham
Mitrovic is appealing for a penalty but nothing given, the following cross reaches reid but is nodded just wide
