FINAL-TIME: Wolves 2-3 West Ham

And breathe...

What a game from Jesse Lingard. The phenomenal first-half from West Ham was enough as they were able to hold on to their lead.

Lingard, Fornals and Bowen with goals for the Hammers, who are up to FOURTH in the Premier League, Dendoncker and Silva on the scoresheet for Wolves who slump in 14th.

Excuse me now, going to make myself a nice relaxing tea.

90' As Ki-Jana Hoever replaces Ait-Nouri, Michael Oliver added four minutes of extra time.

GOAL: Wolves 2-3 West Ham

Oh no. Wolves are back in it.

Fabio Silva with a great strike into the bottom corner straight after replacing Daniel Podence.

Not looking good for West Ham.
21:4314 days ago
67' One change from David Moyes as Ben Johnson replaced Arthur Masuaku.

Good shift from the left-back after months out with a knee injury.
21:3414 days ago

NO GOAL: Wolves 1-3 West Ham

Tomas Soucek got the ball in the back of the net, but his strike was ruled out for handball.

Tough luck for West Ham as they were looking to extend their lead.

55' Decent chance for West Ham but Bowen's header just missed the target.

46' And we're back underway!

Can the Hammers hold on to their lead?

Fabio Silva is on Daniel Podence for the hosts.

HALF-TIME: Wolves 1-3 West Ham

Great half from West Ham, a much weaker one from the hosts.

Jesse Lingard with a goal and an assist, Arthur Masuaku with an assist on his comeback, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen with the other two goals.

But it's not over yet thanks to Leander Dendoncker's late-half strike to keep his side in the game.

The second half should be an interesting one.

GOAL: Wolves 1-3 West Ham

And here it is.

Phenomenal run from Adama Traore who whipped in it from deep and Leander Dendoncker was there to head it in.

Hopefully not a sign of what's to come in the second half.

How did they not score?!

Willian Jose's effort was saved by Fabiański with Pedro Neto's rebound from two yards out going over the bar!

Wolves are pushing hard right now.

GOAL: Wolves 0-3 West Ham

And just like that, it's three!

Another goal, another counter-attack, another Jesse Lingard contribution.

This time it's an assist as his pass was converted in by Jarrod Bowen at the near post.

Instant impact!

37' Good shot from Adama Traore, but straight at Łukasz Fabiański.
20:5014 days ago
33' And just like that, Michail Antonio is off with another hamstring injury.

Jarrod Bowen is readying himself to come onto the pitch.
20:4814 days ago
31' Phenomenal from Antonio to barge through three players, but his shot from an acute angle went into the side-netting.
20:4314 days ago
27' Good cross from Podence, but Pedro Neto's header was off target.
20:3914 days ago
22' Wolves trying to get back in the game, but their efforts have not been any good yet.

Daniel Podence the closest so far as he managed to hit the bar with a header.

GOAL: Wolves 0-2 West Ham

I have no words for Jesse Lingard anymore.

A fantastic "Berbatov spin" from the forward to skip past Nelson Semedo, a pass to Arthur Masuaku who crossed the ball from between from two Wolves' defenders and Pablo Fornals was in the right place at the right time as his right-footed finish drifted straight into the bottom corner.

West Ham are flying high right now. Very high.

12' Lingard is just gliding through Wolves right now.

After some great work from Antonio down the left-wing, "JLingz" got the ball, drifted inside past three players but his shot was straight at Patricio.

A very promising start from the Hammers.

GOAL: Wolves 0-1 West Ham

Jesse Lingard, take a bow!

Great work from Vladimir Coufal and Pablo Fornals to escape Wolves' press, Lingard picked the ball up inside his own goal and driven it all the way into the box, before slotting it past Patricio.

Phenomenal stuff from the loanee!
20:2014 days ago
4' What an effort!

Michail Antonio with a strike from outside of the area but Rui Patricio managed to palm it into the post.

Good shot, but an even better save.
20:1814 days ago
2' Willian Jose with an effort from inside the area, but it's wide.

Talking team news

Well, not quite what I've predicted.

Declan Rice is out for West Ham with a knee injury while Arthur Masuaku is straight back in the starting XI after missing the last four months after a much-needed knee surgery.

Daniel Podence and Rui Patricio are both back for Wolves with Jonny, unfortunately, missing out after injuring both MCL and ACL in his right knee.

Joao Moutinho is out with a groin injury and Willy Boly is self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.

It poised Nuno to a change of formation - from a back three, they are back into a back four with Rayan Ait-Nouri at left-back and Leander Dendoncker moving up, from centre-back to a defensive midfield spot.

Player to watch

After playing fairly limited minutes during the 2019/20 season, due to Diogo Jota's phenomenal form, Pedro Neto looks to have outgrown his ex-teammate.

The 21-year-old is proving himself as the most vital piece in Nuno Espirito Santo's puzzle, as his contribution of five goals and four assists combine to 32% of his teams' goals.

Having hit a bit of a drought recently, the forward will look to break his unlikely streak against West Ham on Monday night, and he most certainly has the ability to do so, which can cause David Moyes an unwanted problem.

Previous encounters

The head-to-head record doesn't look positive for the Hammers, as they've won only one of the previous five encounters between the two teams.

Until their match-up in the first half of the season, which ended with them enjoying a 4-0 win, the last time West Ham beat Wolverhampton in the Premier League was on NYE in January 2011.

An own goal from Ronald Zubar and a Freddie Sears strike saw West Ham run away as 2-0 winners.

Current form

The hosts are coming into the game off a narrow 0-1 loss against Premier League's reigning champions, Liverpool FC in which Diogo Jota, Wolves' former player, scored the only goal of the game.

The visitors, who still have European ambitions as a win would take them to fourth in the Premier League table, have drawn their latest game, against Arsenal FC, 3-3.
