FINAL-TIME: West Ham 3-2 Leicester City

Well, that is a massive let-off.

Never wanted to hear the sound of a whistle so bad since... Monday?

A brace from Jesse Lingard and a Jarrod Bowen strike put West Ham ahead. Kelechi Iheanacho tried bringing his side back into the game, but his two goals weren't enough to complete a comeback.

West Ham move into fourth, just one point behind Leicester. The end of the season is going to be a very interesting one.

Uh oh.

Iheanacho with a brace as Leicester are looking to complete their comeback deep into the stoppage time.

West Ham, please don't do it.

84' Double substitution from West Ham.

Ben Johnson is on for Mark Noble and Said Benrahma replaced Jarrod Bowen.

Two great performances.

79' What a stop that is!

Tielemans with a perfect ball towards Ricardo Pereira who was through on goal and looking to round Fabiański, but the Polish international managed to get the ball off him with his fingertips!

Game saving, for sure.

GOAL: West Ham 3-1 Leicester City

Leicester have one back through Kelechi Iheanacho.

A fantastic strike from the Nigerian left Fabiański with no chance.

59' Break in play, Marc Albrighton is on for Denis Praet.

NO GOAL: Issa Diop

West Ham were looking as they've scored their fourth of the game, but Diop was fractionally offside.

A fantastic cross from Lingard to feed the defender, but it won't count.
15:182 months ago
53' And we have our second substitution of the game, after Luke Thomas replaced Daniel Amartey at HT.

Aaron Cresswell is off with a hamstring problem. Fabian Balbuena replaces him.

Masuaku with a great interception, two quick passes inside from Lingard and Soucek, and Bowen was there to finish!

Appalling defending from Leicester.

46' And we're back underway!

Can West Ham keep it going, or are Leicester going to force a comeback?

We'll see very soon.

HALF-TIME: West Ham 2-0 Leicester City

Who would've thought?

West Ham look the much better side so far, mainly due to Jesse Lingard, the scorer of both goals.

Is it because of the players unavailable for Leicester, or are the Hammers just this good?

I'll leave it for everyone to decide for themselves.

Jesse Lingard with a brace! This man is insane, honestly.

A fantastic ball over the top from Issa Diop found Bowen in acres of space, and the winger fed in Lingard who tapped the ball into an open net.

West Ham looking more than comfortable now.

43' Vardy thought he'd won a penalty after a late challenge by Craig Dawson, but the striker was called offside.

A big let-off for the Hammers.

You can't stop him

GOAL: West Ham 1-0 Leicester City

Jesse Lingard, that is phenomenal!

Great work from Masuaku on the left side, his cross reached Vladimir Coufal on the other side of the box who instantly put it back towards Lingard on the edge of the area, and he finished it with a first-time volley!

As it stands, West Ham are back to fourth.

24' Jamie Vardy with a left-footed shot from the edge of the area, but hit it straight at Fabiański.
14:282 months ago
20' Finally, a chance!

Great ball from Arthur Masuaku towards Jarrod Bowen, but the forward didn't reach it properly and crashed into the post.

West Ham coming close.

19' There's really not much happening in this game. Both sets of players are making a lot of cheap passing errors in the middle of the pitch.

One corner kick for each of the teams came to nothing.
14:112 months ago
4' Kelechi Iheanacho tried his luck from distance, but Łukasz Fabiański was aware and caught easily.

Player to watch

After Jamie Vardy's fitness and form struggles, about which you can read there, Kelechi Iheanacho stepped up to the task of keeping alive Leicester City's European ambitions.

The Nigerian has scored five goals in the last four games, including a hat-trick against Sheffield United, with his performances winning him the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month award for March.

After not contributing in his teams' loss against Man City, the striker will most likely be looking to continue his good run of form.

Previous encounters

The head-to-head record looks fairly equal as in the last six meetings between the teams there were two draws, two Hammers' wins and two Foxes' wins.

In their latest meeting, West Ham have comfortably dispatched their opponents' thanks to goals from Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals.
