Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on Manchester United's squad prior to their second leg Europa League tie with Granada CF.

The Reds do have a 2-0 advantage going into Thursday nights game. However, United do face a mini suspension crisis.

  • Team news

After picking up yellow cards in the first leg, club captain, Harry Maguire, fullback Luke Shaw and midfielder, Scott McTominay, will all miss the game at Old Trafford.

All three have been fantastic for the club this season, Maguire has rarely missed a minute of football this season, he's featured in nearly every game this season.

Shaw has probably been United's second best player this season, only behind Bruno Fernandes. He's even earned himself a spot back into the England set up this season and could feature in Gareth Soutgate's squad for the Euros.

McTominay has been an anchor in the midfield this season, often partnered alongside Fred. The partnership of the Brazilian and the Scottish midfielder seems to be the winning formulae for Solskjaer.

The United boss does think that the referee handed out some "easy yellow cards", but has said that he'll "always pick a team to win a game."

There's bound to be some rotation from Solskjaer, especially with the Norwegian confirming some injury doubts. Marcus Rashford scored the opener for United in the first leg. However, the England forward was forced to sit out of training on Wednesday and is now doubtful for the game. The United boss remains hopeful that he might be available for the game.

Daniel James is back, Solskjaer has confirmed. Unlike his England teammate, the Welsh winger completed Wednesday's training session. Eric Bailly still remains unavailable for United, Juan Mata is back in the United setup and is ready to play against his fellow countrymen.

Young Red's defender Will Fish has been added to the matchday squad.

For Granada, former Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado sat out of his sides game at the weekend, but has made the squad.

Portuguese defender Domingos Duarte is banned and Yan Brice Eteki is also believed to be suspended but has been named in the 27-man squad for the trip.

Midfielder Kenedy is also due to come to Manchester although there have been some doubts over his availability due to injury.
