Game Over

Sheffield United have been relegated from the Premier League.

A Willian Jose goal separated the two sides.

The Blades had some great chances, however couldn't finish their chances - a performance to sum up their season.

Sheffield have now been relegated in the joint quickest time. Derby County and Huddersfield Town were also relegated after 32 games.

Wolves remain in 12th place, but temporarily sit three points above Crystal Palace.

Silva should have done better

Silva had a chance to make it two, however the young striker let the ball run across his body just a bit too much, and took the shot on the stretch.

The resulting shot was weak and straight into the hands of Ramsdale.

Should have been two for Wovles!

Saiss had a great chance to double his sides lead.

The ball fell to the Moroccan on the edge of the six yard box, who's low effort was met by Ramsdale, who rushed off his line.

The Blades countered, however the final pass into Burke was too heavy.

Substitution for Wolves

The goalscorer leaves the field, in place of Fabio Silva.

Fabio Silva grabbed an assist off the bench last week against Fulham.

Substitution for United

Double change for Sheffield United, as Mousset replaces Osborn, and Burke replaces Brewster.

Heckingbottom certainly feeling as if his side can get something out of this game with two positive changes.

Substitution for Wolves

Podence is replaced by Vitinha.

Almost Even Stevens!

United are knocking on the door, and in doing so have stung the gloves of Patricio.

Stevens brilliantly turns away from Dendoncker on the edge of the box, before striking a powerful effort at the Wolves goalkeeper, who did well to tip the shot over the bar.

Traore capitalised on Bryan error

Kean Bryan will be disappointed with himself, as it was his decision to press Dendoncker, which opened up the space for Traore.

Take nothing away from the Traore's work down the right hand side, who did brilliantly to skip past John Egan, before delivering the cross.

Goal! Wolves Take the Lead!

Willian Jose fires Wolves in front with his first goal in gold and black!

Rui Patricio denied Enda Stevens with a crucial save to set up the counter attack.

Adama Traore then drove down the wing and delivered a low cross into the path of the Brazilian who hit it first time to score the opening goal.

Half Time 0-0

A slow first half from both teams, with the home side dominating the ball.

Nuno will be disappointed that his team haven't caused more problems for the visitors, especially considering their position in the table.

Sheffield haven't offered an awful lot so far, however have looked solid enough at the back.

Yellow Card for Brewster

Brewster receives a yellow card after a coming together with Ait-Nouri. The Wolves left-back appears to stand on the foot of Brewster, however the free-kick is given in favour of the home side.

Chance for Wolves!

Ait-Nouri has a strong effort denied by Ramsdale.

Traore tee'd up the Frenchman who cut inside and powerfully drove an effort at goal with his weaker foot.

200 appearances for Fleck

John Fleck has made is 200th appearance in a Sheffield United shirt, and tried to mark the occasion with an optimistic effort from range. However, the Scotsman attempt was way off the mark.

Wolves close to scoring!

32% of Wolves' goals this season have come from set pieces.

It's clear to see why after two back to back corners almost result in the opening goal. The second of the two corners was an extraordinary effort by Boly, who back-heeled into the top corner. His effort was blocked off the line.

10 minutes gone...

A quiet start so far, with Wolves looking the more dangerous going forward. United dealing with it comfortably as of yet.

Stats you should know: United

Unsurprisingly, given their position in the table, Sheffield have a terrible form away from home, scoring just seven goals, and taking just four points from their 15 games on the road.

Since Paul Heckingbottom took over, United have lost four games on the bounce, conceding 12 and scoring once.

Any result for The Blades tonight will postpone their inevitable relegation for another week.

Stats you should know: Wolves

Wolves have lost their last two consecutive home games, however haven't lost three in a row since November 2018.

However, Wolves have a great record against tonights visitors, losing just once in their last 13 home games.

Sheffield announced that Oli McBurnie and Billy Sharp will both miss the remainder of the season.

McBurnie broke a bone in his foot against Arsenal last week, whereas Sharp suffered a thigh injury in training.

Recently, Pedro Neto joined Jonny Castro Otto and Raul Jimenez on the sidelines, after a knee injury sustained against Fulham last week. Ruben Neves, who is in isolation, is also out for Saturday's match. Groin injuries to Joao Moutinho and Marcal will also keep the pair out.

It's not all bad news though, as Willy Boly has returned to training after his isolation period ended. Nuno Espirito Santo has also confirmed that Theo Corbeanu will be in the squad.
