Final Thoughts: Sunderland 2-1 Hull City
SUMMARY: Sunderland 2-1 Hull City
Sunderland had the better of the first half and went ahead through Ross Stewart after good work from Elliot Embleton.
Hull City came back into it in the second half, and deservedly levelled through Josh Magennis.
It looked like it would be a draw, but Will Grigg won it at the death, heading in from close range in the last minute.
Grant McCann won't be too happy about the result, but he'll be more worried about Magennis and Lewie Coyle who both went off with injuries - although neither looked too serious.

HERE WE GO!
Teams are OUT!
Five minutes until kick off!
Exciting front three for City...
Stewart leading the line for Sunderland...
Corry Evans will play in midfield against his former club...
Ten minutes to go!
Less than 30 minutes to go until Kick Off...
Great opportunity for City youth...
Harvey Cartwright did feature in goal for the first team at the start of last season, and Festus Arthur played well in the Scunthorpe game.
Matty Jacob provided the assist for Magennis against Mansfield, but Will Jarvis could be a big one tonight. He came on for the U23 squad on Tuesday to net twice in the 3-1 win against Pickering, and I think he's one to watch.
Snelgrove and Beckett make up the bench, who are both exciting players too.

A Reminder of the Sunderland team...
Following an outbreak of gastroenteritis within the squad, several players miss tonight’s game.

Sunderland and Tigers fans - what do you make of that?
Around 40 minutes to kick off!
Sunderland affected by illness...
Will Grigg and Jack Diamond are on the bench, but no McGeady - who I hear has been nursing a knee problem.
So, Hull City fans - what do we think?
Ingram is in goal, with the back four consisting of Coyle, Greaves, Jones and Emmanuel - playing on the opposite side, interestingly.
Smallwood, Docherty and Cannon are in midfield, with Lewis-Potter, Longman and Magennis up front. Longman was particularly good against Scunthorpe at the weekend.
It's a young bench, but no Olly Green - which must mean he is going to feature against Manchester United U23's in the behind closed doors game tomorrow.
No news on the Sunderland line-up yet...
