Brighton & Hove Albion return from the international break to face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The Seagulls sit sixth in the Premier League having taken 14 points from their first seven matches while the Canaries are winless in their last 17 top-flight matches, dating back to February of 2020.

Team news

Norwich look to be without Sam Byram, who is still battling a long-term hamstring injury. Todd Cantwell, Mathias Normann and Christoph Zimmermann are all doubtful.

Temmu Pukki will be full of confidence as he became Finland's all-time leading goal scorer during the international break.

Steven Alzate and Danny Welbeck will miss out for Brighton as both players will require surgery while Enock Mwepu will be assessed before a final decision is made.

Yves Bissouma returned to training this week after having been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and his status for Saturday is unknown.

Predicted line-ups

Norwich City: Krul; Gibson, Hanley, Kabak; Giannoulis, McLean, Normann, Lees-Melou, Aarons; Pukki, Sargent

Brighton & Hove AlbionSánchez; Burn, Dunk, Duffy; Cucurella, Moder, Lallana, Groß, Veltman; Trossard, Maupay

Ones to watch

Teemu Puuki (Norwich City)

There may be no one player that is more important to his team than the Finn is to the Canaries. He was their leading scorer in their two most recent promotion-winning campaigns and scored 11 in their last top-flight season.

Marc Cucurella (Brighton and Hove Albion)

The Spaniard has impressed since arriving on the South Coast. Good on the ball and a danger going forward, he showed a hunger to win the ball against Arsenal and is very secure in his defensive duties. He looks to be another shrewd signing by manager Graham Potter.

Previous meetings

Brighton did the double over Norwich in the 2019-20 season in the sides' only matches against each other in the Premier League.

Second-half goals by Leandro Trossard and Shane Duffy gave the Seagulls a 2-0 victory at home and Trossard grabbed the only goal of the match in the reverse fixture.

How to watch

There is no live coverage of the match in the UK, but home, international and junior members will have access to live audio on Norwich's website.
