Foxes prevail!

FT One final Brentford corner is cleared and we have reached the end of the match!

That's back-to-back wins on the spin for Leicester and they seem to be rounding into form now. Expect to see them battling at the top end of the table sooner rather than later.

Brentford had plenty of opportunities and will be heartened by another good performance against a top side despite not taking any points from this one. Toney was kept relatively quiet, but Mbuemo was very good before being subbed off.

That's all from me. Stay tuned to VAVEL for more coverage of this match and all of the action from this day in the Premier League.

This is John Lupo saying so long and take care!

Foxes grab the lead!

GOAL! 73' Leicester slice Brentford apart to retake the lead in their first real moment of danger for some time, and it's Maddison who breaks an eight-month scoring drought to do it!

Iheanacho plays Daka through with the Bees defense unusually disorganized, and with no chance of being caught he squares for Maddison to tap home when Raya comes off his line.

Leicester on the front foot!

Schmiechel saves

48' Canos' dinked cross finds Toney but he's a long way from goal and without the power in the delivery, can only nod it into the waiting arms of the Leicester goalkeeper.

Raya to the rescue!

47' Maddison gets too much space to run when he receives the ball on the turn, and has Raya at full stretch from 25 yards with a powerful effort.

Daka's follow-up is nowhere close as he tres to bring the form to league competition that he had in Europe, when he bagged four in midweek.

HT We have reached the break with a moment of magic seeing Leicester in front. Meanwhile, Brentford have had plenty of possession and a few decent chances not to mention a goal ruled out by a questionable offsides call.

We'll be back shortly for the second half.

Raya saved by the offside flag!

45+1 The Foxes goalkeeper is left in a tricky spot when he comes to the corner of his box to meet the ball and is beaten to it by Iheanacho. He palms the forward's header out of his area before he's spared any worries of a Leicester second by the offside flag.

Brentford creating chances

35' Toney, uses his strength to win Brentford a corner. Some nice quick passing across midfield finds Onyeka in a yard of space and on the turn he finds the striker 12 yards out. His header is touched over by Schmeichel for a corner.

Brentford goes close again!

23' Norgaard lifts the ball perfectly over the Foxes back three for Mbeumo, but he can't control it and Schmeichel sees it come right to him.

Leicester looking for a second!

17' Mbeumo has been lively so far and he shows Soyuncu a clean pair of heels the hosts attack breaks down and with Maddison quickly on the ball and allowed to run, he bends it just wide of Raya's far post from outside the box.

Bees with another half-chance

10' Mbeumo takes Toney's flick to get away from Soyuncu.

He bends it well wide of the far post on his left from 20 yards when he should at least be testing Schmeichel. Brentford have started well.
