Thanks for following!
That brings to an end this live blog tonight, as Salford City progress to the next round where they'll face Chesterfield at home, as has just been drawn out of the hat.
Until next time, I've been Noah Robson, see you soon here on VAVEL.
Watch all the highlights
Salford City: What It Means
On the other hand, Salford City can head back to Manchester feeling quite lucky at the fact they've matched their best ever progress in the FA Cup.
A goal in the first half that they held onto for the rest of the game proved to be enough, though they'll have wanted to get more than just the one goal.
It was mainly their goalkeeper, Connor Ripley, who kept them ahead, but there was also some great defending throughout from the away side that helped them get the win.
Dagenham & Redbridge: What It Means
It might not have been the result that Dagenham & Redbridge were hoping for tonight in the FA Cup, but they can be proud of the performance they put in.
They went behind very early on due to some poor defending from a corner but from then on they were clearly the team on top throughout.
Unfortunately for them they couldn't convert any of their chances but they can use that confidence to take back into their league games coming up in the rest of the season.

Match Summary
Both sides came out pretty fast at the start of the first half, with the action being relatively end to end in the first few minutes of the game.
As it was though, it was the away side who took the lead in just the third minute, via corner which, due to some poor defending, Jordan Turnbull was able to easily head in.
From then on, most of the chances came to Dagenham & Redbridge but the Daggers failed to convert any of their almost innumerable chances throughout the game.
A medical emergency near the end of the game led to a subdued final few minutes, but it seems as though, thankfully, the supporter was in a stable condition as he left the stadium in a stretcher.

That's job done and we're into the Second Round, but some things are more important than football and we hope the efforts of the medical teams are recognised. Best wishes again to the fan affected ❤️

Player of the Match: Connor Ripley
There were a few potential players of the match I could've gone for both in the home side's attack and the away team's defence, but I'm going to go with Connor Ripley.
The Salford City goalkeeper was immense throughout and, in the end, was crucial in getting his side into the next round of the FA Cup.
He made many good saves and claimed almost countless crosses (almost all swung in by Will Wright) preventing the hosts from getting a goal they kept pushing for all game.
FULL TIME: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
And that's that!
The referee blows for full time and Salford progress into the second round of the FA Cup by one goal to nil, despite the home side having far more of the chances.
Salford took the lead way back in the third minute and, while they did have some chances to add to their lead, it was Dagenham & Redbridge who had more of the opportunities.
Yet, thanks to a combination of poor finishing, good defending and great goalkeeping, the away side kept them out and will now await the draw for the next round in a few minutes time.
90+10: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Can the home side get one final chance?
Time really isn't on their side at all, even with the ten minutes that were added on.
90+8: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
For what seems like the millionth time tonight, Wright delivers the ball into the box, with the goalkeeper up for the set piece, but yet again Dagenham can't take advantage of the chance.
90+7: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Lowe crosses the ball into the box and Touray really should score but he can't keep his shot down and sends it over the bar.
90+5: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Just as I say that, it's confirmed that there will be 10 minutes of added time due to that medical emergency, and we appear to be in the fifth minute of that already.
Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure what minute it is after that, but the fourth official is yet to show any added time so I can assume it's not 90 minutes.
Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Seems like the supporter is being taken out of the stadium now, the commentators are saying they appear to be ok which is good news.
I'll let you know if there's anymore updates.
Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
ITV Sport reporting now that the person appears to be conscious and is getting onto a stretcher now, which is good news.
90: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
The players have been taken off the pitch here with just a minute to go in the game as doctors attend to a medical emergency.
All thoughts are with whoever is suffering at the moment.
89: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
There's an unfortunate medical situation in the crowd here, just below the cameras.
This doesn't look good at all.
87: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Another great save from Ripley!
Saunders fires a shot in from the left hand side which is dipping rapidly but the keeper sends it out for a corner.
85: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
It's so, so close to an equaliser!
The corner is swung in and Reynolds has a free header at the back post which, via a combination of Ripley and the post, somehow stays out the net.
That feels like it was a big chance.
84: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
'Digger dagger, digger dagger'.
There's the chant I've been waiting for all night.
82: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
It's worth nothing that if Salford do progress here they'll equal their club record for the furthest distance they've gone in this competition.
They've reached the second round twice before in their history, in 2015/16 and 2020/21 but have never got further than that.
Could this be the year they do that?
79: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Morris leaves the field in place of Donald Love and Henderson is replaced by N'Mai for Salford City with just over 10 minutes remaining here in East London.
The hosts also make a sub, putting Saunders on for Vilhete.
77: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Jones made good progress with the ball but was eventually stopped.
They need to really ramp it up now.
74: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
The game's fallen a little bit flat here which is good news for Gary Bowyer's side but less so the hosts who still need to keep the tempo up as they search for an equaliser.
72: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
It's another substitution for the home side as Akanbi comes on for Ling.
Under 20 minutes to go here now.
70: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Lee Dixon has just accidentally revealed that Sam Matterface is a Chelsea fan live on air.
'That was naughty,' he said.
The things you get on ITV4, eh?
67: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Dean Rance departs for Joey Jones for Dagenham and that reminds me to tell you about a substitution for Salford a few minutes ago where Connor McAleny came on in place of Aramide Oteh.
67: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Once again it's Wright who swings in a set piece after that previous incident resulted in a Dagenham foul but it comes to nothing.
66: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Temporary WWE on the near touchline here but nothing doing and the game goes on.
Oh wait, Turnbull's been booked here but just for dissent, I believe.
I love the FA Cup.
65: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
The attendance is 2,330 in this one which isn't too bad in fairness. And I must correct my earlier statement, there are in fact 43, not 23, away fans.
63: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Big penalty shouts from the home fans as Balanta is pushed off of the ball by Smith but the referee only gives a corner which is then comfortably claimed by Ripley.
62: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
A decent shot from Sagaf as he swivels on the spot and tries to curl it into the top left hand corner but it is just too high, flying past the crossbar.
57: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
A few from Dagenham here haven't quite managed to threaten their opponent's goal yet, each time being cleared way by Salford players.
The home side do seem to be getting closer here.
54: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
The camera has just turned round to the side so much you could see Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon in their makeshift commentary gantry, with the latter pretending to head an imaginary ball.
Interesting.
52: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Turnbull's not too pleased with the decision for a foul to go against him on Sagaf there, but it does appear to be the correct decision by the referee.
50: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
It's been a more cagey opening five minutes from both sides here as neither want to allow the other in, so they're not pushing up quite as much.
46: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Oteh fires his shot well wide of the post in the first chance of this second half.
46: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
We're back underway in this first round tie and Salford are still ahead.
The hosts have 45 minutes to keep their FA Cup dream alive here.

HALF TIME: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Henderson can't quite get his head on a late Salford cross and with that the referee blows for half time.
The away side went ahead very early on from a corner but front that point onwards Dagenham & Redbridge had far more chances than the visitors.
Ripley in the Salford net made a few good stops, Wright put in lots of good corners and Darly McMahon will feel his side deserve an equaliser at least.
45: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Wright puts in the 4,564,233rd corner (or around that), which is cleared away eventually after pinball in the box.
The fourth official has also just shown there will be two minutes of added time.
Enough for a few thousand more corner kicks, I reckon.
44: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Will Wright has been putting in quality ball after quality ball in this first half, with it requiring lots of concentration from Salford defenders to clear each time.
43: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
It's neat play from the home side as Weston and Robinson link really well on the left hand side to force yet another corner.
42: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
⏱️40' HOW HAVE WE NOT SCORED?!
Weston cuts inside on his left, strikes and forces a great save from Ripley before Robinson does the exact same!

40: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Weston cuts past Shephard and stings the gloves of Ripley again, as he palms it back out into play.
A few moments later Robinson has another long rage effort which again the Salford keeper pushes away.
39: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Some good defending from Kenny Clark who kicks the ball out.
Out the stadium, I mean.
37: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
It's so close to an equaliser for Dagenham!
Robinson gets his head on a cross but Ripley in goal makes a great save to keep it out!
36: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
'Come on Dagenham' is the cry from the home fans.
I tell you what, fair play to them because there are a lot of syllables to get out there.
35: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Ooh, that's a shocker.
Callum Reynolds has an effort from about 30 yards out and it goes miles wide and high.
33: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
I've got to say, I'm a big fan of the Digger Dagger Digger Dagger flag behind the goal on the left hand side of the camera.
Anyway, back to the game.
31: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Balanta has a brilliant chance to make it 1-1 after Shephard loses the ball in his own box but he fires it straight at Ripley.
29: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
A poor pass back to Clark by Weston is almost capitalised on by Oteh but the defender recovers well.
27: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Weston tees up Robinson on the edge of the box but he can't keep his shot down and it flies over the bar into the crowd behind.
24: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Turnbull almost cuts back a ball into the path of a Salford attacker but the ball is cleared out for a throw in.
23: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Eventually Salford do clear the ball properly, before being getting a foul in their own penalty area to relieve the pressure that had been piled on them.
21: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
And it's almost an equaliser for Dagenham!
Vilhete almost directs the ball on target but the ball is sent behind for another corner.
Then that one is sent behind for another set piece, and we're back in the same place again.
20: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Weston on the left wing for Dagenham has had lots of the ball so far, and has shown off a rather unique skillset as he attempts to wriggle away from Salford defenders.
Anyway, he's won his side a corner here...
19: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Dagenham win a free kick on the right hand side of the penalty box which is swung in far too deep and it's a chance wasted.
17: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
The home fans are screaming for a penalty but nothing doing as the referee simply points for a goal kick.

16: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
According to Sam Matterface of ITV, that's the fastest goal in the FA Cup this season so far.
Not bad at all.
15: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Sagaf hits one from range which was dipping but not quite fast enough.
It's a promising sign for the home side, though.
15: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
The game has settled down a little now, with both sides enjoying extended spells on the ball.
At the moment, the Daggers' best chances look as though they'll come down the wings.

The Ammies are continuing to control possession in this one and do look more confident on the ball.
Darly McMahon's side need to collect their thoughts and go again.
7: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Another corner comes flying in for Salford which looks very threatening, speeding past Justham but nobody gets on the end of it.
5: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
The hosts come forward, looking to cancel out that opening goal but can't quite carve out a charge.
It's been end to end already and Dagenham are far from out of this game.
GOAL!: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Salford City
Salford take the lead!
It's poor defending from the first corner of the game and Jordan Turnbull has the easiest of tasks to head the ball straight into the net.
2: Dagenham & Redbridge 0-0 Salford City
The Daggers get the first foul of the game as Salford are penalised for a handball.
It's been a positive first 90 seconds for the home side.

Trio of switches for the Ammies
Gary Bowyer has also opted to switch three players from his starting eleven which fell to a 2-1 home defeat to Exeter City last weekend.
The first of those is Ian Henderson, who comes in for Tom Elliott, while Aramide Oteh is also in the starting line-up, replacing Brandon Thomas-Asante on the wing.
Also in the side is defender Andy Smith, with Matty Willock taken out of the team who have travelled down from Manchester for this one.
Three changes for the Daggers
It's a relatively similar team to the one that drew 2-2 with Chesterfield last time out for the Daggers in tonight's FA Cup clash, as Daryl McMahon looks to guide his side into the second round.
Kenny Clark comes in for Elliott Johnson at the back, while Sam Ling also enters the side in place of George Saunders.
Finally, Matthew Robinson is also put into the starting eleven instead of Scott Wilson.

The game is one of a few in this First Round Proper that has been chosen for TV broadcast, giving both clubs a big financial boost to their budgets.
This fixture will be played out in front of the ITV4 cameras in Dagenham, which is free-to-air on UK television for all fans.
It gets underway at 7:45 PM, but there will be build-up from around an hour before kick off here on VAVEL if you want to follow the live blog instead.
Dagenham & Redbridge vs Salford City Prediction
This is a tough one to call, because while Salford may be seen as favourites due to their higher division, there are a couple of factors which reduce their advantage in that respect somewhat.
The first is that Gary Bowyer's side aren't having the greatest season, sitting fifth from bottom, while Daryl McMahon's team are near the top of their respective division.
The other, and arguably more significant reason, is that this is the FA Cup, where underdogs thrive and favourites fall - so there really is no way of knowing for sure which way games will go.
Regardless, I don't want to sit on the fence, so I'm going to go with the home side to get a tight win on Monday night, by a scoreline of 2-1, though in this competition it could just as easily be 5-4.
Latest games between Dagenham & Redbridge and Salford City
With Salford City only rising up through the leagues relatively recently, and Dagenham & Redbridge only being formed in 1992, there have only been three games between these two sides before.
The first time they met was in the 2018/19 National League when, at Victoria Road, the two sides played out a 0-0 draw, despite Salford going down to 10 men in the first half.
They then matched up again a few months later in the reverse league fixture at the Peninsula Stadium, where Dagenham & Redbridge won 2-1, thanks to a winner from a certain Angelo Balanta.
Finally, the most recent time these sides played one another was in January 2019, in the FA Trophy, which saw Salford come out 2-0 winners.
Key Player from Salford City - Tom Elliott
From Salford City, I'm also opting for a striker, and this time it is the top scorer for their respective team with Tom Elliott the one I'll be looking out for in particular throughout the game.
Having scored three goals, as well as assisted two the Englishman has enjoyed a great start to the season, especially considering he's only played around half of all the minutes available.
He also has the joint-second highest WhoScored.com rating, with an average of 7.14 behind only Zach Jeacock who has only made a single appearance for the Ammies this season.
Key Player from Dagenham & Redbridge - Angelo Balanta
Had Paul McCallum not been suspended for two games due to improper conduct, he would undoubtedly have been the player to watch in this match, being the club's top scorer.
As it is, the striker won't be available, so instead I'm going with another striker in the form of Colombian-born Angelo Balanta, who has been at the club since September 2018.
He has scored 26 goals for the club in his time there, so while it won't be easy against a team in the division above them, the 31-year-old will certainly give it a good go.

Salford City: A Meteoric Rise
For Salford City fans, the last seven years must have felt like something of a dream, since a group of players from the 'Class of 92' took over the club in 2014.
Since then, it's been success after success, with four promotions in that time skyrocketing the club through the divisions into League Two, where they currently are.
They've been going along well in the division, although this season their standards have fallen slightly with the club languishing in 19th place, so they'll hope the change in competition can give them a much-needed boost.
Dagenham & Redbridge: Fighting for the Football League
It's been almost three decades since Dagenham & Redbridge were formed back in 1992, with a somewhat turbulent history in that time.
The club have always been around the top end of non-league football, and played in League Two from 2007 to 2010, had one season in League One before being relegated back down and then relegated again in 2016.
Since then, they've stayed in the National League, hovering around mid-table for most of that time, but this year they've started well and sit just two points off the play-offs.
The match will be played at Victoria Road
The Dagenham & Redbridge vs Salford City match will be played at the stadium Victoria Road, in Dagenham, with a capacity of 6,000 people.
It's a classic English football ground, with standing room only on three of the four stands, just as most non-league stadiums are.
